With KG, yes. I just don't think Chris Bosh is a special player. He hasn't done anything thus far in his career, and its not looking too good either future wise.

What do you mean he's done nothing? He put 23 & 11 on a 47 win team 2 years ago.

I guess 47 wins and an early exit is a lot to some people. Gotta love it.

Bosh is a great player but he doesnt make his team or teammates better like Wade and James and Garnett. He is a lower tier max guy. He has a lot of talent in toronto this year and they stink and he is playing zero defense

Exactly, Bosh isn't amongst the elite, no shot.

Fans that keep voting for Garnett should be ashame of themselves. 16 and 9 aren't starter numbers either.

Wow 16 and 9? I wasn't even aware of that!!! David Lee is having a better season statistically that KG!?!?!?! Wow!....Wow indeed!

unless you count blocks, assists, defense and wins.

garnett's stats are down because boston started 27-3 and he rarely played in the 4th quarter for a lot of the first 30 games.

I got ya but the assists are the same...blocks is the only stat difference...

mins? David is getting 35 per....KG..32 mins...ok so maybe you can tag on some more stats for 3 mins per....still it's impressive.

Now watching games? David has been consistant all year. I don't think he's an all-star but the stats say he is...borderline all-star indeed. Still...lets just hope the big men in the game stay healthy...Lee should get the automatic replacement vote.

His 2.7 blocks are good. His defense isn't other than blocks and screams. Check out the opposing players scoring on him this season alone. Wilson Chandler putting 31 points on him doesn't help either. He is getting the Shaq treatment.

oh, yeah, also he went to boston and changed the entire chemistry of that team and they won a championship and are one of 3 legit contenders this year. can you say formidable?

i'm sorry, but trying to argue DLee is more of an all-star than KG just doesn't work. the Bosh thing is ridiculous enough.

To claim that KG isn't worthy of this year's all star game is just pathetic.

Take Bosh off the Raptors and they have 5 wins max.

Take Lee off the Knicks and they're nowhere near the playoff race, whats your point ?

Bosh is a near superstar. He was included in MVP talks for the first month of the season. he fell off, but a lot of that had to do with injuries to Calderon and JOneal. Bosh is a better player than Lee. What do you think Bosh would put up in this system, in Lee's role? 26ppg and 13rpg?

In all fairness, Bosh and Lee are two different kinds of players. They'd compliment each other very if they were teammates. It's a little silly to compare them to each other.

people are saying Lee should make the all-star team over KG and Bosh. in all fairness, that's insane. i love david lee. i love how hard he works, but he is just not near the same level as those players.

Agreed. Lee is a great compliment player. One of those breeds that's one step above everyone else, but one step short of the elite's. In other words, put him next to a super star and he'll help that superstar get a ring. But you'd need about two to three David Lee's to accomplish that. Not clone #1 David Lee alone can compliment that greatly.
I'll never trust this' team again.

There's a reason why Bosh and Lee were BOTH considered as reserves. If it were that clear and obvious like it is to you guys, this decision in who to select would have never arose.

In my opinion, Bosh should have never even had to been considered for a reserve, he should be starting. Yi Jianlin nearly won the starting gig, so that tells you how much that's worth.

One of the biggest mistakes I made about a year and a half ago was saying that we didn't need KG, that he was on the down hill and would be due for injury. Boy' was I wrong!

And who exactly does Bosh get the starting nod over ?

Well for one, there's no way AI should be starting. I would move Wade to PG and LeBron to SG and have Bosh start at SF.

But honestly, he should be starting over Garnett. I have no problem with Garnett being on the team, he deserves that, but he doesn't deserve to be starting. He just don't have starters numbers this year.
