I'll take LeBron over Kobe any day... Kobe is a great player, but he isn't the beastly, force-of-nature that LeBron is.

for my team, so would i... but like i said there isn't a better big game player in the NBA than Kobe Bryant... until Lebron has proven himself in the postseason like Kobe has, he won't have that same distinction...

Very true, but nature also tells us that one is soon to be on the decline and the other is obviously going to be King.
I'll never trust this' team again.

the argument isn't what these players will be years from now... the topic was who is the best in the game right now.

With Cleve and L.A. having identical records, it's basically a draw right now.

Agreed, but I think he's good enough to win it all right now. I could see LeBron beating the Celtics this year, because he's better and has a better surrounding cast. LeBron can beat the stronger guys with his skill. He can beat weaker guys by brute force. He takes as much pride in his defense as his offense.

Kobe got all those open looks because of Shaq. He's lost in two Finals appearances too. So it isn't like you're guaranteed a victory with Kobe. I mean, last year LeBron almost took down the Celtics. With Kobe it didn't look as close.

taken alone & considering Lebron's inhuman physical attributes, there's no question i would rather have him over Kobe on my team... i'm just saying he still has to take that next step & prove himself in the Finals... there isn't a better big shot maker in the game than Kobe Bryant, & that's even more the case during the biggest games... Kobe was just as much a reason for those teams winning a championship as Shaq was if u ask me.

Lebron is part Magic, part MJ & part Karl Malone.

He does seem to be putting those parts together this year, and he could be unstoppable.

Sorry, but Karl Malone sucked in the playoffs. He's more like Magic Johnson like moves, with James Worthy speed and finish, all wrapped up with Bernard King hustle.

Yeah, AND he's got killer instinct. He could use another younger big man to go with him, but he's on his way to winning a few championships soon. He'll be above Kobe before we know it, including big games.

Just remember, Kobe has been quiet in some big games, himself, in recent years.

I don't know. If you took Lebron and Kobe off their teams and had a 5 on 5 game with two 11 man rosters, I think LA blow out Cleveland.
