the opposition is ur wasting $10 million dollars to bring in a guy who strikes out 140 times a year, bats for a low average & who's defense has been on a decline over the past couple years... Melky's got just as good range in CF as Cameron does & a MUCH better arm, plus he's a switch hitter... they both are very sketchy offensively but at least Melky's cost controlled & cheap... Melky's not gonna hit for as much power as Cameron but are 10 HR's worth an extra $10 million dollars to you? & please don't come back w/some lame reply like "they do if those 10 HR's equate to 22.541% more wins next season"... the only reason this guy makes any sense is because it was part of getting CC to sign here... they're close friends & share the same agents... other than that, i see no reason why we would spend so much more for a marginal upgrade at best.
