Since so many people on this forum, on the ESPN forums, and in the league have different opinion's that are driving me nuts, I'd like to know. I myself put this completely on Wackbury, who has burned bridges with every coach and every player he has ever been around. With an assist from James Dolan for not wanting to buy him out from day one. But please, explain to me why such respected men like Walsh and D'Antoni, who come in with such great reputations, are hurting this douchebag who has ruined every team he has ever touched. BTW thank you Marbury supporters/ Walsh, D'Antoni critics for replacing Republicans in my life for being the people I most can't understand what reality you live in.

The Knicks organization is because they want to have their cake and eat it too. You can't tell someone we don't want you we are going in a defferent direction then slighly suggst they should play then punish them for not playing. This situation needs to end. Period.

How is it having their cake and eating it to??? When you pay somebody 21million, you get to give that player WHAT EVER ROLE YOU WANT. If the role changes, you get to change it again when you pay the bills, period.

Look there are enough quotes and opinions to support both sides of this arguement. The only thing that remains constant is that this story ends with Marbury being released. The fine is tenuios at best. The Knicks have moved on, release the player end of story. And thats factorial!

Stephon Marbury, as he has been his entire career.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

It isn't dolans fault. It isn't Isiah's fault. They were just trying to put a team together. It certainly isn't D'Antoni's or Donnie's fault. They're just trying to avoid this guy.

Nope it isn't any of these guys fault. IT'S STEPHON MARBURY'S FAULT! He's the one who blew it and threw it all away, plain and simple.
I'll never trust this' team again.

There should be an option that says "all of the above". We know Steph is wack but this has definitely been a huge blunder for the new management and the only way they can start cleaning up their names is by doing something quickly. If you wanna keep Marbury's contract until the trade deadline because he is an asset, fine, but then send him home where he can't not be close to the team.

That might hurt if I didn't read most of you -3bury post.

I would be mad, but I know you are posting through tears so I'll let that go.

So is the conversation on ultimategldenstatewarriors.com something like this:

Anji: Jamal is like, totally Rad!

Warrior-gal-Queenie: Jamal rocks and is totally tubular!

Anji: Shah!

Warrior-gal-Queenie: Dude, like Shah!

Stephon Marbury and Knicks to blame for splitting headache
BY FRANK ISOLA
DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

Marbury now says the "marriage" is over, which is an interesting analogy from a guy who had an extra-marital affair with an intern and then laughed about it after testifying in Thomas' sexual harassment trial. But this is the world according to Steph. The only people he'll deal with are those in the organization and media who live to serve him. There is no middle ground. The rest are treated like dirt.

That's why Kurt Thomas and Quentin Richardson wanted to fight him. That's why one of the NBA's true ambassadors, Dikembe Mutombo, despised him. And that's why you can't feel badly for Marbury.

He deserved better from the Knicks over the past six weeks. And they deserved better from him the last six seasons.

The entire article is quite good and gives a perspective of Marbury and the Knicks right from the beginning. I know how I feel. I'll let you judge when you hear all of the facts.

They should have done what the Bull did to Tim Thomas after he was traded there in the Eddy Curry trade. They avoided him being a distraction when they didn't want to play him so they sent him home but still paid him. But at least they didn't have any confrontations the like of which we are now seeing. Walsh and D'Antoni mishandled this badly.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Hahahaha. That's just not right, but funny as hell.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
