If it's Rose I'm all for it. One more asset. True, he doesn't expire this year. But he has value as a player as opposed to Rose.

I gotta think if Crawford is included, something else is coming back. Walsh has already shown us (Zach) that he does not like to just give assets away for nothing.

Craw is going to do really well in Nelson's offense. sigh. not sure how i feel about this trade. people are killing him for the last two games against Dallas and Boston, but in hindsight if he knew a trade was brewing they have all the hallmarks of "I'm gonna be traded WHERE???" games...

hmm... i guess we'll have to see what the deal ends up being.

Yeah, but who? Right now it's 50/50 between Randolph and Crawford with who is the Knicks best player on a given night... I can't see anyone coming over that is going to fill that void.

cryz--what if they get rid of zach and craw today and get back young assets and have that cap space for 2010 assured---i would be accepting of that.

if we make this trade, i guess it's hands down we're drafting a shooting guard.

and it makes the decision to pass on Bayless for Gallinari that much more perplexing.

Three-way deal?

Just heard this seconds ago...

The Knicks, Warriors and Clippers are talking about a three-way deal that would involve Jamal Crawford, Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins being sent in a cap-space clearing move that would bring in Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley and Al Harrington.

The contracts on all three incoming players expire in 2010.

Trying to confirm this now.

Stay tuned . . .

I think we need to get back more for Zach, this just complicates things. I like Mardy and Craw for Belli and Al, but not this.

Bayless is not a 2 guard. He's a 6'2 lead guard. Who would Bayless guard on the other end of the floor?

I agree that it would be nice to get a young propect and a pick or two, but when you blow it up, it looks ugly for a while. It dont get more uglier than Tim Thomas in a Knick Uni...
