Jackie Brown was signed for a short contract. Something like 2 mil. Jackie was a no risk player. Not to mention Jackie Butler was not a player that would effect the Spurs salary cap. You can not say the same for Curry. Getting Curry who is getting paid 9 mil, 10, and 11 mil for the next three years is a whole different ball game. Plus Curry is known to have heart problems and his contract might not be insured.

anyway the topic is moot cuz SA doesn't have any contracts that match up to Curry's salary that they would be willing to deal unless they're willing to throw back KT, Oberto & another filler contract.

i would just try to get a 3 way deal done w/CHA & GSW where we get back Harrington & a 1st round pick for Curry & Lee.
