For the record I wanted to cut Malik and keep Roberson/Ewing. Yet Donnie says he only trades contracts. YAY! Can't wait for the next Crawful or Curry to join the Knicks as a result to Malik's extremely valuable expiring contract!!!!

Dude read my posts. I never said its a valid reason to keep Roberson. All I'm saying is that both players suck and either one could have been dropped, in this case it was Ewing. Obviously Walsh/D'Antoni feel that Roberson will give them more. If they thought Ewing would give them more, they woulda kept him instead.

It's a complete wash though, both players suck.

I wasn't tasking you bud....I was tasking the general perception that Balkman was traded and Ewing was cut because they wouldn't get minutes and Donnie was just doing the right thing for them - BUT - when it comes to Roberson who is absolutely in the same boat as those two when it comes to minutes - the same evaluation seems to not apply.

I'm taking Donnie's word to task, no one elses... yeah I know on a message board it's tough to tell.

Elite, i totally feel where u'r coming from on this... i'm a Walsh supporter but i swear the decision to keep Roberson over guys like Balkman & Ewing Jr. makes no sense to me at all... our biggest need is shotblocking & we cut 2 guys who can at least block a shot here & there who the fans loved to cheer for in favor of another undersized shooter who chances are will never set foot on the court this season barring any major injuries to 1 or 2 of our G's... Isiah/Layden-esque type maneuver if i ever saw one.
