Here is what the Harrrison Police Chief said,
Harrison Police Chief David Hall would not confirm or deny that the victim - a 46-year-old man - was Thomas, who is 47. The victim had consumed roughly 10 Lunesta sleeping pills, Hall said. "He was unconscious, but breathing on his own," Hall said. It was unclear if the overdose was a suicide attempt or an accident. "Maybe the guy took a couple of pills couldn't go to sleep, took a couple more, couldn't go to sleep - who knows?" Hall said. Here is what Isiah said about the incident, When reached on his cell phone today, Thomas, 47, denied those claims and inexplicably insisted that it was his 17-year-old daughter Lauren who was the one having an issue but it "wasn't an overdose." "My daughter is very down right now. None of us are OK," he told The Post. Thomas said there was an "incident" that occurred Thursday at Rye Country Day school - where the 6-foot tall senior also plays hoops." He oddly wouldn't be more specific and told a reporter to call the school to see if they would give details. If Isiah is throwing his daughter under the bus for this he the most heinous ex sports star not incarcerated on the planet. I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

I'm sincerely sad for Isiah and his family, but this just seems to punctuate just how tragic his time here was.
I can't wait for him and Marbury to be fully divorced from the Knicks so such drama is no longer a reflection of the organization. Isiah, get well soon, then be gone. |

Posted by GKFv2: you are sad, man...truly sad. All the BS we spout here should not supercede our humanity. I really hope you never come to any of the UK events because I really wouldnt want to associate w/people who have no sense of compassion for a fellow human being!!! |

Posted by ActionJackson:Posted by GKFv2: Nice job judging someone over an internet forum. What does that say about you? Because I don't show compassion for a guy overdosing on pills does not make me inhumane. You know how many people try to kill themselves every day? Where is the compassion for those people? Oh that's right, they're not famous. I've done community work for the homeless and worked in poor neighborhoods and I have a lot of compassion in me. Every time I hear of another death on the news I almost damn well get depressed and almost tear up, especially of a child. But I'm not here to try to prove anything to you. I know who I am. The problem here is that Isiah Thomas has had everything. He has stepped and spit on people while at the top and he himself has never show compassion to others. I don't feel sorry for someone who has been arrogant, ****y, and downright conniving his entire life. Don't worry about me though. I could have made my impression of you way back when you started insulting me for no reason (or because I apparently suck on the bball court) but I didn't. I don't really think lowly of anyone and nothing anyone has done here has made me form an opinion on anyone. This is the internet. People will say things others don't like. That doesn't represent who they are. Learn to differentiate that. Don't throw out false accusations either. Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Police were called to the Westchester County home of former Knicks coach Isiah Thomas early Friday for a report of a man who overdosed on prescription drugs, police said. |

When threads constantly turn into discussions about the posters and not the topic at hand it usually points to a problem with the people posting. That is when we start to rethink whether it is worth it to keep people here.

Did I start a discussion on myself? This is a free country. I posted my opinion and people had a problem with it. I didn't come in here to make the topic about me or start trouble. Try looking at it from an un-biased point of view for a second.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
