It's a bit early. Between Zach and Curry, I've always felt that Curry was the one who should go. But I'm not sold on Randolph yet. I'd like to see this team play some regular season games, and see how they handle adversity. I do think it's great that Marbs has to come off the bench. If you can't get rid of him, that's the next best thing.

i completely agree... i'm not sold on him either... the way this team handles losing will be a big key... i wanna see the makeup of their character playing under their new head coach... still if we can somehow dump Zach's contract for an expiring i'd do it.

For the good of this team's future, unloading Zach's contract should always remain a big priority for us. That's just the reality of the situation - it's really unbelievable what a hinderance that contract is. But it's kinda unfortunate because the guy comes to play every game, competes, gives good effort and produces on a fairly high level - never one of my favorite players but there's no denying that the guy's a borderline all-star, always has been. Zach the contract absolutely sucks, Zach the player I could live with. Unfortunately in today's NBA though, cap space is EVERYTHING, so with that in mind he needs to go eventually. That's how I see it.

But for me, priority numero uno has got to be trading Eddy Curry at all costs. The guy's a disgrace, he really is. Absolutely no drive, and his "game" has not gotten any better from when he broke into the league. Guy just doesn't give a ****. I mean, come on, he comes in every year out of shape but this year, knowing D'Antoni was hired to be the coach and knowing the style of play he's gonna want to bring, he comes into camp in possibly the worst shape of his entire career. Horrible. No excuses. He's big, he's still relatively young and he can dunk and score in close and it's time for Donnie to try and sell that to any team out there that might need a big man. And his contract's more manageable than Zach's so that should make it easier. Here's hoping Eddy's gone by the February deadline....
