The Daily News said that Jeffries was going to be the starting center. He is 6'10 so it is not out of the question. Jeffries said that he thinks he can be back in 3 weeks if he rehabs like T.O. I think Jeffries at center for a Mike D' team makes sense. I don't like a team that just runs and doesn't play D but there is no room for a lumbering post up center on that type of team.

I can fully understand MDA being more comfortable with Jared. He can not only run the floor, but handle the ball a little and rebound and defend. He's not great at anything, but he's competent and fluid. Isiah had the right idea but lacked the skill to use Jared the right way. Isiah wanted to play a bit like PHX, but we know MDA can coach his system the best. I believe he'll have more success mainly cuz he won't be stuck protecting Curry as Isiah was. He's not tied to any player on this team so he can do what he wants. If Jared benefits from that it may be a good thing for us.

Yo dude seriously.. I think Jeffries was going to have a good year. The system that mikeD runs is extremely similar to the system he ran at Indiana which got him drafted so high. Jeffries is a glorified garbage man and within this system he was going to have a real chance to be that.

He's missing 2 months, not 2 years. If you're right, he should be able to give us about 50 good games.

thing is, you don't come back 100% after 2 month. Takes a bunch of time. More like 30 good games, if that.

I'm not sure if that was figured into the 2 months. That's why Jeffries said 3 weeks and they said 2 months, maybe? If not, give it another month for him to get back into playing condition and then he still has about half a season to show us that he can be a good player.

sure he was gonna have a good year... just like Steph was gonna be a model teammate & Zach was gonna help take this team to the Finals.

If you watch the clip of Day 4 of Camp....when they highlight where Jeffries got hurt, he was engaged in contact with a defending Jerome James.

Then went on to aggravate it further when he blocked Steph later in the clip.
