Cheating on your girlfriend is wrong, but is not punished by the laws of society, but the male in the relationship does receive negative repercussion in the forms of family and friends viewing you as an unfaithful, dishonest person. Even though cheating on your girl/boyfriend happens frequently and is not punished by the laws of society, it doesn't mean cheating is accepted by society.
Woody cheating on his girlfriend with his adopted daughter is wrong on multiple fronts: 1) Woody is being unfaithful to his girlfriend of 12 years 2) Woody ruined the family relationship 3) Woody, a 50 year old man, is taking advantage of his teenage daughter inferior reasoning ability
This list of what he's done wrong, using society standards, can go on. Even though he was not punished by the laws of society, it doesn't mean our society condone what he did. The majority of our society will say what he did is inappropriate and unacceptable, even if there is no punishment given. If you've don't think what he did was wrong for the above reasons, then you're one of the minority, and do not agree with all of the moral standards currently placed in society.
Screw morality. Morality is a fools game. It's a joke, because some of the biggest morality pushers are a bunch of dirty old closet cases! What you said above is basically what I have been saying. Nobody likes what he did. That's a no brainer, if you have a conscience and a fair and logical brain. And my point has been is what you are saying and that is 'what laws has he broken'? None! People can create their own moral judgments, but it's more than just Woody that this moral judgment represents. It's a mask of bigotry on many, many topics.
How can one express a thought, without being judged is what I'm talking about. It's like I'm being convicted by association. Like being convicted because I refuse to support this so called morality. Do I have a point? Maybe we should go after guys like R. Kelly and maybe O.J. again, because they were 'morally wrong. No need to get all bent. It's just an example and one I hope you guys can see. Otherwise, I have no case here.
Thank God we have no 'morality laws', because next they'd start condoning stoning again. Long live Democracy.
I'll never trust this' team again.
