I know a lot of guys want to tank for another pick next year. I cant disagree with that logic. I mean first and foremost we need talent. But after 7(?) years of the same bull this franchise is in desperate need of a culture change. Winning some games and demonstrating that there is indeed a plan and a style of play that actually translates into wins would go a long way on a lot of levels.

Winning more then any draft pick or cap space is going to be the difference maker in ultimately changing the culture.

And the only way you win is by getting that draft pick..

That one draft pick (Al Jefferson) got them Kevin Garnett. The #5 pick got them Ray Allen. Plus they already had a damn good player who was a high draft pick in Paul Pierce.
Detroit, you are right. They are and always will be the exception to the rule though.

Detroit is somewhat an exception but they did need their own lottery drafted players in order to get Rip, Big Ben, and Rasheed.

agreed... i don't think you can win w/this team as currently constructed... u need to build up the core w/good young talent before u can start to win games over the longterm.
