I'm surprised there is so much love for Baron Davis. He's a bit of chucker. 18.5 shots per game, and 6.5 of those shot are 3's. And further he only shoots 33% from downtown. I know the counter to that is that he's playing for Golden St, but those 3 point attempts are actually down from previous points in his career. He used to shoot about 8 3's per game back with the Hornets and never did better 35% or so from downtown. Here's a guy who would be a lot more efficient if he limited his 3's, because he certainly has the playmaking ability.

Posted by VDesai: Why is that surprising? The majority of Knicks fans were in love with Stephon Marbury, up until last season. NY fans seem to really appreciate scoring point guards and I bet the majority of NY fans would say that point guard is the most important position. I'm in the minority in disagreeing with that sentiment. Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Baron Davis is a serious head case and we need to rid ourselves of guys like that. I say we get rid of Steph, Zach first and then whoever doesnt want to ibuy in trade them

Posted by djsunyc: I'd take Odom, I think he needs to get away from Kobe to really excel again. He'd be a great fit as a PF in D'Antoni's system, since he can do some of everything. "OMG - did we just go on a two-trade-wining-streak?" -SupremeCommander

Posted by djsunyc: maybe the dallas/gsw could work, but i doubt golden state wants to help the lakers get closer to a chip. ¿ △ ?

Posted by VDesai:Posted by djsunyc: Maybe the landscape has changed some but Carlisle spoke during his conference in that one of his main goals was to establish a relationship with Jason Kidd and the other veteran players. I don't see Dallas trading Kidd and to be honest he's a better fit for their team than Baron. LMFAO @ the Bio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephon_Marbury

That gimpy knee of his has me more concerned than a Rush Limbaugh presidency. Looks like that thing could shred at any second.
I couldnt take having such a question mark here for 5 + years. Unimaginable trepidation. Best years are behind him, and he's looking to cash in on one last big payday. Naw. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.
