![]() Posted by playa2: That won't really tell us anything. For one thing there are a ton of factors to take into consideration. Many of which are out of the players control. SL isn't really a good place to try and compare rookies. Guys like Durant struggled to put up numbers and then went on to have great regular seasons. |

![]() Posted by nixluva:Posted by playa2: Funny you posted that article about Gallinari but pick and choose what you like about it. According to the coach, SL will be an indicator whether the young man can play in the NBA. Let's be honest here. Gallinari should dominate this SL. According to you, the EL is better than the NCAA. So why shouldn't Gallinari dominate players that either are just out of that association or against guys he was able to play against in the EL (you have quite a number of players from the EL in SL too). So logic dictate he should dominate. There are few NBA players other than last rookies or guys working on their games in this SL. He will not be at any real disadvantage. ![]() If the EL is better than the NCAA, then is the SL better than the EL? We know that the NBA is better than the SL, and therefore, presumably, the EL & the NCAA. IDK.

![]() Posted by BasketballJones: According to this theory that the EL is better than the NCAA, SL consist of most of draft picks and most draft picks are from the NCAA then by that logic the EL should be better than the SL. So why wouldn't someone who played at a high level in a league against men as quoted many times over the last couple of weeks dominate basically scrimage games. As pointed out in previous years, a guy like Nate Robinson should dominate against this talent so why wouldn't someone else who has played professional ball. ![]() Posted by playa2: what does it matter? let's see who have the better NBA careers should be the better question, at least early on. After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
