everytime i play that game i get cleaned out... blackjack is the only game i play now... maybe a little Caribbean poker if i wanna take it slow.

I know you put me down for Bayless but in the end I am fine with Gallinari. I'm not upset or anything. I wasn't booing last night and I wont be at all. He needs time to develop and I think we made the right with all the guys left on the board.

You know you can use the official draft day thread. It has most people's choice for who they wanted at #6, including mine.

my list of acceptable Knicks was Beasley, Rose, Mayo, Love, Gallinari, Alexander, Gordon and Bayless. I would have accepted Augustin if a trade down happened. On Wednesday, I thought we were getting two from the list.

Galinari should have better numbers unless Bayless can step in and take PG right away. Galinari will be playing in a big-numbers system on a bad team, Bayless will be getting few shots on a good team. Bayless is way down the pecking order of that squad, probably 6th.

That brings up a good question. What is going to be the determining factor in this little game of "I Told You So"?

Gallinario has a huge advantage playing in a system built to maximize offensive stats, doesn't have to worry about playing defense and will get the opportunity right away for as many minutes as he can handle.

Bayless on the other hand is joining a really young team still trying to figure out how to play together, is going to be playing the most demanding position to learn in PG, is probably going to be coming off the bench for a good portion of the year, will be the 4th or 5th option on offense and has the incumbant starter and another promising young PG in front of him starting training camp.

Obviously Bayless would have more of an opportunity to put up numbers if he were drafted by the Knicks. Going strictly by numbers this year will be a very unfair way to judge them.
