Lopez doesn't remind me of Tim Duncan, but maybe Kevin McHale will agree with Briggs.

He might not remind you of Duncan but if Gallinari is better than Lopez I will eat my socks--it's wait and see but

Enough Lopez public relations work, fam.

I don't understand how Gallo is "stiff-legged" and Brook Lopez isn't.

Summer League Day two:
Defensively, he struggled again with foul trouble, as he could not move his feet quickly enough and suffered greatly by how tightly the referees are calling most of the games here. He picked up 7 fouls in 20 minutes…

I guess common sense and rationality are casualties when one is desperate to be proven right.

He picked up fouls because of his size. Anyone who watched him all week and calls him stiff-legged is just falt wrong. This guy was a weapon. He Blocked shots he rebounded he was unstoppable on the offensive end--the last two days he faced the double team that did nothing. SL is better than the NCAA and is way faster and he was the best player by a mile. Better than beasley better than Rose better than anyone who played in that league.

So by that statement Von Wafer should be inducted into the Hall of Fame pretty soon since he averaged 24pts a game last year in the SL.

Nope--this is not a 6-4 G==this is a 7 foot+ highly skilled interior player who can really shoot. If you watched the games--if you watched how Lopez moved around and how big and skilled he was--you would be in agreement with me. Lopez is a serious player.

He also averaged 4.8 rebounds in the summer league. For a 7 footer that is horrendous. That is even worse than Eddy Curry.

He'll be a better defensive player and passer than Curry. Curry will be better scoring inside. Neither one will ever board well.

Brookie's gonna be a fouling machine for awhile in the pro's. Also, he may end up getting T'd a lot, cause he throws little fits and yells at refs a lot.

ira--the game where Lopez peaked my eye was the one against Miami--I really was watching it because I wanted to see if Beasley would score 30-35 points after that first game----and Sean Williams+ Brook Lopez shut Mike Beasley down DEFENSIVELY in and out--and williams was VERY impressive going out defending on the perimeter but that is for another day ---and then on the other end Lopez was simply outplaying anyone who they put on him with ease. He did pick up some fouls this week he didnt rebound as well as a 7 footer should but the way he was doing it--against Beasley Green Noah Gray--whoever they shoved at him after he picked up the speed of the game post game 1 just had no chance against him. He did whatever he wanted and he was very goodefesnively blocking shots clogging the lane--many of the fouls were almosty shaq like fouls--where the dude was just so big that little contact created fouls.

He's gonna be able to score real well, but also committ a ton of fouls. Something like a Smits or Ilgauskas type of center. Probably better player than the spot he was picked but also not a revelation or anything.
