paul + wade is hindsight. no way you take those guys over melo coming out of college.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder--you are forgetting something--melo didnt even go 2 in his own draft. My bet is that Bogut wouldve gone 1 in a melo draft heck kwame brown couldve gone before melo its all about the beauty.

no ur right, that's hindsight.

if u wanna hold it to who were more highly touted going into the draft then i think if you're gonna put Dwight Howard on that list you should also consider Emeka Okafor too IMO... & also Kevin Durant was being pretty highly hyped by a lotta people going into the draft, some going to the silly extents of comparing him to KG.

Paul should have gone 3 Portland's pick. Wade was 5 Melo was 3 not too far apart there. I guess you could say Melo should have went 2nd.

I'm not too sure about Yao either. I know ever body likes the big man, but between injuries and having played with a superstar longer(Tmac) Yao hasn't took his team past the first round either. Plus plus he has had a better cast of players that support him in Landry, Battier, Scola, Hayes , Mutombo. Melo has only really had Miller and Camby.

I think in hind sight I go LBJ, CP, Dwade, Howard, and Oden even though we don't know what he is yet. Melo is a force and I would love him on the knicks.
