My problem with Randolph is that he doesn't have as good a shot as you'd like at small forward and hasn't shown the ability to put on enough weight to play power forward. At the pre-draftcamp in Orlando, they were saying he was wearing a long undershirt to hide how skinny he really is and he wasn't coming close to hitting jump shots. Randolph has serious bust potential.
Speaking of lukewarm impressions, Brook Lopez didn’t do a whole lot to ease the concerns NBA people have about him, not moving all that well up and down the floor and showing a very average skill-level in most of the drills. The same can be said about Anthony Randolph, who showed up with a long undershirt intended to hide just how incredibly skinny he still is at the moment. He looked great dunking the ball in the transition drills and handling the ball fluidly in the open floor, but was completely unable to hit a mid-range or long-range jumper in any of the drills, not even coming up close on many of his attempts.

I saw him play a lot. He does have a good jumper he does not sit back on the 3 point line he is an excellent rebounder shotblocker ballhandler has good post moves and he's all of 18 years old. I really dont see the players at 6 that make more sense than Westbrook or Randolph. I don't think Mayo will slip past 5 like some of the mocks say but obviously he would be the choice if he slipped. Gallinari is not athletic enough to warrant pick 6 augustin is to small to warrant pick 6 Gordon is the type of player that we have in abundance[me first little D to go along with being short for a 2G with short arms] Kevin Love and Brook Lopez wont be good in a system that requires you to get up and down. So it leaves Westbrook Randolph Mayo or Bayless[if they slip] Im believe that the NY Knicks probably have these two players VERY high on the board. Both players match the way weve been drafting athletci balkman chandler lee robinson and all of these guys have seen success to a degree and should fit very well into the uptempo system.
