Makes absolutely no sense. He's a fine player but if I'm running the Knicks I don't even think about taking a 30-something year old on this roster until I'm convinced I'm a player or two away from really really doing something special. When I say that I'm talking Eastern Conference finals and beyond. Hopefully by the summer of 2011 we're at that point where we can now think about adding an impact free-agent to put us on that next plateau. Until then, I want to stick to a plan of youth and cost-effectiveness.
