Carmelo Was Cited For Speeding Saturday
May 7, 2008 - 6:29 am
The Denver Post -
Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony was cited for speeding last weekend for driving 60 mph in a 45-mph zone, a local police spokesman told The Denver Post.

The ticket is payable through the mail, but marks the second traffic citation in less than a month for the All-Star.

Anthony was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in April, and he blood alcohol level was reported as nearly twice the legal limit.

On June 5, a date will be determined for Anthony to make his plea.

It's becoming clear in my mind the Denver media has turned on Melo and his days seriously could be numbered. They could rebuild quite fast if they made some good pairings in trades.

Nuggets Will Listen To Trade Offers For Carmelo

Denver Post -
The Nuggets have made no indication that they will actively shop Carmelo Anthony, but they will listen to offers, according to the Denver Post.

Because of his off the court problems and the luxury tax, Denver may be inclined to see what sort of package Anthony would yield.

No. Derrick Rose does not come with the Melo baggage.

I'd smoke crack off a venomous toad's back before I'd trade for him.

Its not even worth its own thread. To hell with Carmelo. Dude is a waste of pure talent. He's a top talent but yo.....he should be Bernard King. He's got time but he wants to be a ghetto superstar first. Let he stay where he is at......se him when his contract is up.

Melo needs to study the career of glen "big dog" robinson.

The man could shoot, got his big max contract then mailed it in.
