That's why I chose Rose first. Hell' Tyler's moved way up on my list. Who knows, he might even knock Mr. Beasley and Lopez from the 2 and 3 spot.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Rose is overrated, his point guard skills are minimal, he really looks like a Devin Harris clone IMO. Good but not great.

Unless you have one of the superstar 4's(current or soon to be) in the NBA on your team, you have to take Beasley number one.

realisticly, we won't have the 1,2,or 3rd pick. if we could get rid of little z, i'd love to pick up blake griffin. (if he comes out) he reminds of beasley w/out 3 point range. an absolute monster in the paint, supremely athletic, strong as hell, and can pass well out of the double/triple team. (which he sees often) read his scouting report, and it is absolutely on point. he is very much like carlos boozer.

I read up on him before. He is definitely intriguing, but do you think he can play center at 6-9 like Boozer?
nah, but the kid can play. and play strong even as a freshman. his older brother plays on the same team, but blake is just on another planet in terms of skill set and ability.

DJ Augustine will be a better pro than D.Rose.

and since, IMO, the Knicks need a guard more than anything else right now, my #1 would DJ Augustine.

2. Tyler Hasborough. I'm amazed that this guy isnt getting any love here. I think D.Lee is awesome, but Hansbrough is better than Lee and drafting T,Hansbrough will allow the Knicks to move Lee, w/ one of our long term contracts, and possibly get another Lottery pick.

3. D.Rose.

What about Lee? Granted I am not worried about Zach or Curry, and honestly I don't need a 7 foot beast in the middle to make me happy. There are guys who play center bigger than their size (Ben Wallace, Boozer, Mourning) and there are 7 footers play smaller (Mehmet Okur). Heck one of the better shot blocking role playing centers is Kendrick Perkins and he is 6-10(On DraftXpress, Blake is listed at 6-10, draft.net lists him at 6-9).

Personally I would like to see us get Rose and another player in this draft-it is very light on SG's. Blake would be nice, and another player I am intrigued by is Tyler Smith of Tennessee. 6-7, versatile, 2/3, I think he is the best defender on Tennessee and a leader.

If we ended up with Blake, Tyler Smith, were able to trade for Ford, and able to sign JR Smith and Chris Duhon as a backup PG, I would be happy.

Everyone has to consider what rookie can really handle the pressure of playing for the knicks at MSG with the fans and media expectations out the roof.

Think before you say this guy or that guy can resurrect the knicks .
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Rose punked Augustine today like a little girl. Two very seperate talents. One is pick 1 the other is a 5-11 player who has trouble going against tougher bigger opponents during the season.

NONE of the small guards are worth more than the bigs in this draft with exception of Rose. You fit a name in there and he isnt worth it.
The big talenst/prsopects are MUCH higher ceiling players-- I could care less what draft sites say--it's plain as day. When you see Rose just work over Augustine---just remember what guys Like Baron Davis Billups etc.. will also do to him. The last thing the Knicks need is combo guard so that is out. It's either Rose
Beasley and then BIG--no small player will be called by the Knicks and I mean smaller than 6-10 with exception of top 2.

Derrick Rose was a MAN today. I'll say the same thing I've been saying since August, just like Bippity and his "Isiah will be back" statements and that is .... Derrick Rose is the best player in this draft and we sorely need him more than any other player.

Derrick Rose is amazing. He's my number one pick by a mile.
