ROse looked like a good not great player to me.. He looked like he has the abilities but where was his killer instinct? He disappeared way too often. He reminded me a lot of Marbury.. Just a little more smart and team oriented.

i mean, once again i'll say, if people like elite are wondering why he disappeared, you probably don't play basketball. 45 minutes (ie zero seconds on the bench taking a breather) against a pack of ferocious guards. chalmers will probably go top 15, russ robinson will play pro somewhere in europe i'd imagine and sherron collins will be back next yr, i'm guessing he'll be a first rounder when all is said and done. memphis' backup PG got kicked off the team after their elite 8 game, and calipari said afterwards, he played for broke, when they went to OT they were screwed. rose did not sit ONCE that whole game, think about that and then tell me if you know the answer to why he "disappeared". he was certainly evident when he took over and (should've) won them the game, taking over 6 or 7 minutes late in the 2nd half, i believe he scored on 5 straight possessions, capped off by his NBA range 3.

i wouldnt mind having him on the knicks.

if you want to compare him to the 20/8 marbury i mean i guess so, i think that discounts what we know about marbury know and how terrible he was. rose took this team to the championship, he hit big shots routinely (there's a reason he was in the championship), and i you discount two HUGE parts of rose's game (his rebounding and his defense) by saying he's a "marbury clone."
