Hey Isles, we beatin Miami?

My Grandmother's Bingo team could beat Miami.

How pathetic its going to be when we manage to blow this one (although we will be happy for draft reasons)

The Knicks lost by 29 points. That's their 4th worst defeat of the season.

Hey, maybe they are improving.

At what' getting better or getting worse?
I'll never trust this' team again.

There's no way they blow it. It's going to be so pathetic watching the Knicks desperately trying to win and the Heat desperately trying to lose. Then listening to Isiah gleaming after a "big" Knicks win, will be just enough to get me to throw up a little bit in my mouth.

I didn't think of hit that way. It's gonna be hallarious! The funniest part will be 'miami will probably win'.

Question: if we somehow manage to lose to Miami (who are obviously tanking the rest of the season on purpose)would that be on par with the Boston massacre?

I'm enjoying watching Nate's time spent on the court run zero offense and chucking up shots in a game that was over 6:00min into the first qrt.

wow... Marcus Williams puts up a 20 pt game & follows it up w/a donut the next game & i don't hear a peep outta you other than to say that u can't judge a young player like him on 2 game samples... meanwhile Nate puts up 45 in an OT game last night & follows it up w/this & all i hear out of you is derived sarcastic pleasure at witnessing his struggles on the floor... i think the point i made on that Marcus Williams thread about the double standards some of you regularly display when it comes to players on other teams has been pretty well demonstrated here.

Where were the blow it out of proportion remarks about Marcus Williams, the way there were for Nate?

As hard as miami tries it's darndest to lose this next game, I think the Knicks will lose simply because there wasn't enough offensive from these guys.

But if it's in reality, yeah, I'd put it right up there with most massacre's.

Just a side note, I know ads bring in some money, but it's just a little odd seeing a boston red sux ad above this post.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Marcus scored 20, Nate scored 45... big difference there i think, no? the point isn't that Marcus' game was unworthy of praise while Nate's was... the point is that you can't bring up a game like the one he had & give him props w/o doing the same for Nate when he goes crazy for 45... objectivity... it's not that hard to do, but i guess it is for some.

Double standard? 5 to 45 points is quite a long ways apart. I would have been proud of the little man if he at least scored 10 points.

the vets are this team are a disgrace, zach comes back firing away no passing. Q has become a mindless chucker, jeffries and malik have really become *******s.. these guys come in firing up shots, looking for their offense, knowing thatis not what they do. this is chaos. I wonder how guys like lee keep his head and still manage to play the right way, with all of this mess going on..

A lottery pick? what good is a young star going to do, with a team full of selfish players who really are not that damn good..

Nate comes in tonight and starts playing this old selfis game of his, dribble, dribble, shoot, but hey, I guess he sees the game is out of hand, and everyone is just chucking up shots, so why not? again, this team has no leader!!
Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

so 5 to 45 in the span of 2 games for Nate is a disgrace, but 20 to 0 in the span of 2 games is understandable for M Will... yeah, pretty much a double standard there.

The only acknowledgment Marcus was given in the thread started a couple weeks back by Isles was "Not A Bad Job" he did in place of Kidd. That's it. And then some agreed. Meanwhile Pres said he "Killed It" and stated "If we keep Nate should it change our draft approach?" IMO that's going a little bit too far particularly the second quoted stated question.

Mavs diss Knicks at half time:
Even on the road, Isiah Thomas heard a few boos when introduced before the game. … A team of women ages 65 to 91 took the court between the first two quarters, prompting plenty of jokes about whether they might be able to beat the Knicks.

Nate scored 45... Marcus scored 20... i can understand why some might be more excited about Nate's game over Marcus'... no one proclaimed either to be an Allstar after 1 game... i don't see anything wrong w/what Pres said... Nate DID kill that game... he was pretty much unstoppable... if u don't agree with that you probably didn't watch the game... he also asked a legitimate question that he posed for hypothetical discussion... notice where he said "IF we keep Nate, SHOULD it change our draft approach"... i have a feeling he meant to get some objective discussion on the topic rather than being ridiculed for posting it... but that's been pretty much the norm around here these days... either you post a ridiculous thread like "I Hate Fred Jones' Face" that inspires absolutely no intelligent discussion whatsoever & be part of the "Knowledgeable Experts" inner circle, or you try & raise some legitimate questions about some of our players & get it thrown back in your face with some moronic half witted reply by someone who prides himself on trying to act intelligent on an internet message forum.

Not to take anything personal from you, I never will, but we are talking about our Knicks. I really don't give two damns about other players problems. I think the thing that irked me about the 45 point performance is 'some people around here used it to make a case to make Nate one of our role players. In my view, it will never work. It's just my view.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Please, my "props" for Nate would have looked like bashing compared to all the knob polishing going on.

As for my "props" for Marcus, I can see why you'd take my assessment, that he could do a good job backing up Devin Harris and learning how to be a PG, and blow it out of proportion.
