technomaster i mean no malice, but you are absolutely nuts.
the big white center you mentioned just sucked. he could barely get into the game in chicago a team with no center and michael jordan.

Doleac is a better player than him, and he is harld a "inside prescence"

Rice was never a franchise player and even still he was at the end of his rope

Fans like you buy into the mirage and justify my comments on the knicks just wanting to field a playoff team.

And lastly we shuld never let a player force our hand, good management can anticipate these types of issues. i would of gotten rid of king SWEAT alot years before.

techno,

More the fact of just getting, anderson eisley, weatherspoon etc

it's the fact of the years and amount of money we gave them.

like my boy tkf says....layden was bidding against himself and still loss.

thats not playing the hand you dealt ,you dont bet the farm on two jacks cause thats all you got. you eat that hand and try agin.

You guys are still ignorant on what goes on behind closed doors at MSG. Ewing called the shots , only because he made MSG the money when they shouldn't have gotten squat for the Eddie Lee Wilkins Rory Sparrows Ken Bannisters of the world playing night in and night out. How do you think gundy got the gig? Ewing ran everything and thats why he got the trade out of ny. You guys really are funny with your "INSIDE STUFF".

playa you were the gentleman saying the knicks and mcdeyyes were going on a 99 run to the championship.

This was after mcdeyyes got injured again.

you were the guy that said the nets would win the finals in five after losing game one.

don't worry no one is more ignorant that you

in the world.

no one will bother to read your details on the Ewing Fiasco. we all know it's prolly related too garbAge and Van gundy, just like your chaney built the rockets stupidity.

I'm a huge fan of Ewing's, but even I have to agree that the organization shouldn't have let him hold them hostage. If he did want a trade, they should've kept him, let his contract run out and test the FA market. Some fools say some nonsense about how an unhappy Ewing would've made NY a living hell. That may or may not be true, but what was he going to do, ruin the Knicks great chances at the title that year? Please. Unfortunately for Ew, he wasn't going to get the money he was looking for at the end of the line anyway.

The bottom line for the franchise, tho, is that it wouldn't have made a bad situation worse with a horrible trade, compounded by even more horrible deal with contract extensions.

LayDUMB is the epitome of short-sightedness and idiocy, and proudly takes every opportunity he has to hammer home the point.

playa come on dude you barely know how to spell your name right.

the inside joke on your personality is whatever you say the opposite will happen. We all know the routine as soon as you are wrong it's a conspiracy.

you couldn't get the inside scoop on a can of koolaid.

the extent of your knowledge is the ny post which you cut and paste every other thread. you have no friends how could you possibly get inside info.

go on and tell the posters how you said Tony campbell gave you the inside scoop on a trade, and we caught you actually stealing the words of some one else that knew tony campbell.

your a liar, and a fraud a man who cheats on fantasy basketball. try running your crap on others who don't know.

but, i like you pike dislike the soft cap in the nba

the nfl has the best cap scenario, where you can cut players. yes you still take some cap hit but it's a lot more flexible, and thats why you see true parity in the NFL.

funny the nba instructed these cap rules to help out parity (amongst other reasons) but we all know next year which 4 teams will be the best in the league. every one except the indiana pacer fan.

that is a good point, for instance you take the cap hit on the bonus you pay out, but the ability to cut a player not only keeps players on their toes but it helps teams rid themselves of dead weight. Just imagine if we could cut spoon, anderson, eisley and knight... Oh how much better we could be... The cap kills the teams that spend unwisely and the teams that are just unlucky with injuries.. The injury exception is BS!!!

Don't "fabricate", ARES. I was a PROPONENT of Kiki's rebuilding efforts from day one.

funny. I did a whole thread on Kiki and the nuggets the beginning of last season on Real GM . Com.. and I got killed for it. Fools were saying the nuggets were lucky, etc..... As I said, Kiki is looking good now!!

I'm just tired of seeing all the good atlethes going some where else and seeeing all these hard working workman like cant make a layup new york knick team.

You know we been watching clutz if kenny walker a hig jumping clutz got pub for his athleticism. yeah he can jump but he cant do other stuff atletic ballers could like run, and definetly running while dribbling.

after years of wathing one arm two guards getting Allan houston was like a complete change in philosphy and even he cant dribble to his left. same with spree. and both of there handles are better than all 6 of our point guards.

I want a lebron i want a Anthony, I want a TMAC, I want a Kobe I want a Garnett. DAMN!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha.. funy post Ares.. I agree, I mean Kenny Walker could jump out the gym, but couldn't hit a jumper, and you are right, I was estatic when we got Houston and then spree, and they still are not the "complete" player we all crave like T-Mac..etc..

Hold on about Ewing. Perhaps we didn't make the best decisions with the Ewing trade, but he was forcing our hand, demanding a trade.

Comments like this absolutely drive me CRAZY!! He DEMANDED a trade!! Who gives a **** what 16 million dollar a year Ewing DEMANDED? You think Red Auerbach would have given a D**N? Of course not... what's best for the TEAM should be all that matters... Layden is WEAK in addition to being stupid, short sighted and incompetent.

I agree, I had this argrument on here before, not too long ago!!! How does Ewing force your hand?!!!! You do not destroy your team to please anyone. I don't give a damn if it is Jordan himself!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't think your rooting against the yankees and lakers are going to amount to much

but at least you have the Giants.

You heard it here first Giants win the Division and make it the Second round. from that point depending on matchups they can go all the way.

The God of war has spoken.
Eagles win the Div and JINTS SIT DOWN IN THE END AGAIN!

See I was giving you the benefit of the doubt before. Now....

The E-Girls are 1 McNugget injury away from 4 and 12. Tell me, exactly how are teams going to stop Collins, Barber, Shockey, Toomer and Hilliard. Add to that Shank, Dixon, Carter and Levens. Our special teams just went from bottom feeders to the top of the food chain. We got a big dog to help man the middle of the D-Line and a pass rusher to help Strahan.

Tell me, exaclty how are you guys going to win anything? The only thing your coach will win is the Coney Island Hotdog Eating Contest

Funny about that Laker Fandom...I live in L.A. and absolutely loathe everything about Purple and Yellow. I'll let Gary off the hook for wanting to get on Shaq's wagon before he quits...but I agree with a previous poster here who said that Malone would be better off in NY, where he can pad his scoring record without complaints from three all-stars...

In any case, the past is behind us, believe me- there will be no more Houston or Anderson contracts being signed in the future unless the player is TMac or LeBron or KG.

Unfortunately, we have to live with the architect's PAST through the 2007 season.

... 100% correct about the NFL.

Non guaranteed contracts is part of the reason they're so successful. That'll never fly in the NBA or MLB.

Yup. The Players Union for the NBA and MLB are just too strong.

i was just about to say that.... the NFLPA sux ass... they gave waaay too much to the owners

who won the hotdog contest?

lakers got every thing the knicks don't, atlethes, healthy legs, guy that can shoot guys that can dribble, franchise players, and most of all championships.

but we got the most undersized power fowards in the league, we do got that. he got four point guards and the fastest one is a white guy from croatia, we do got that, and we have signed every cast off center in the league.
