The fans are giving them a standing O.

I feel like Masing and Tazering them all.

I'm sure there weren't any fans there hoping that the Knicks lose. They're happy to see a game where they don't have to hold their breath or take blood pressure meds

Then on draft night those fans will be bitter when they find out we were 2-5 slots away from landing Beasley, Gordon, Rose, Bayless,

If the Knicks get there honestly (playing as best they can), that'll be cool. Real fans don't want to see their team losing purposely. It's not like there's 2 or 3 games left in the season, there are 25 games left and I ( and a lot of other Knick fans) want them to play as well as they can. This team needs to start the season believing that they can play, not still learning how to play.

I honestly hope the team with the best record in the lottery wins.. that would be justce..

If the playoffs started tonight Denver would have the best record of all the Lottery teams 33-23, so they would have the number one pick by your statement. I totally agree with though there has to be a better system in place not encouraging tanking. I don't feel any team is tanking at least not right now they aren't but the fact I SAY UGH is pulling out all stops to make the playoffs deserves a stoning.

On a side note, did anyone see the "Test drive a Kia and get free Knick Tickets" ad? They're actually giving tickets away

I agree, there should be a tweaking of the lottery. why should denver be punished because the west is tougher.. I mean wouldn't it be better for the league for a good team with good management to get a good pick and become a great team, then for some sad sac team with crappy managementto get the
first pick and never really have a chance to surround that player with other good players? just a thought..

As far as Isiah goes, I can't blame him, the guy is trying to save his job. I mean what would you do? this is all dolans fault, Isiah should have been fired months ago..

DO THE RIGHT THING.

He's told us every lie known to man. A real man would be honest with himself and those around him and face the music realizing we won't be making the playoffs. He is a GM at the same time right? GM's moves are preidicated on future success. You see I SAY UGH the GM takes a backseat to I SAY UGH the coach. Watch what happens when it's mathematically a wrap he's going play I SAY UGH the GM and talk about our bright future and all the things we have to look forward to. He needs to be stoned.

well what is the right thing TB? for Isiah the coach, it is to play the vets because he feels it would give him the best chance to win and keep his jobs as Isiah the GM and coach.... You mean to tell me you would play the youths and risk losing with your job on the line? come on man. I don't believe that... dolan should have just fired him, because we all know Isiah is in self preservation mode and for the knicks that is not a good thing..

1) Little Jimmy is making Zeke "suffer". Or something.
2) Not a good thing for our Knicks, an even worse thing for us.

I don't believe I SAY UGH is under any ultimatum from Dolan. Dolan just doesn't want to come to grips to fire him because then he indicts himself. Remember his "Evident Progress" mandate wasn't attached to making the playoffs. I think that's what fans tell themselves as the mathematics say we're still alive. Now he may feel if he can beat the tredecillion/1 odds(10 to the 42nd power) of making the playoffs it may make his outlook better. But if your owner swallows the kool-aid you make and pour, then play the kids and develop a real style of play. Instill work ethic and defensive principles, stop throwing your vets under the bus. He's like Judas Iscariot, he'll sell out at any cost to make the playoffs when he already knows the inevitable isn't avoidable. I SAY UGH hasn't made the playoffs since his first half season. He's missed them by a wide margin, so no there's no way this is the season that validates saving his job.

Why do people do this?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
