Everyone feels the same way, yet people feel they should say, "oh I can't believe people still want trades". Seriously check the amount of people that has said that in this thread.

The title of the thread and my comments say and suggest that if isiah can't make a trade or is unable to because of dolan.......he should be fired.

Is this the crackhead version of the drunken post taken to the extream in an entire thread?

Lets organize a protest ans stop arguing about the same ****. We are agreeing you mainiacs!!!
I think the protests, etc. are not necessary any more.
This organization is in self destruction mode and Zeke is in self-destruction mode too.
Just give them another month or two and it's over.
There are no takers for the garbage we have and there is no reason to trade counted players with upside as they cost almost nothing.
De-facto this team is finished and Isiah is finished.
Everybody are just aviating the official announcement and ready to move on.

If there are no takers than the Knicks forum should be locked until isiah is gone.

Strictly OT on this site till Isiah, Dolan and the rest are gone.

Any move that is made, that doesn't put us in position to obtain picks or have salary come off the books in the coming years is a bad trade. If a trade is made to build on top of this current team so we can somehow back into an 8th seed I am going to shoot myself. No more building on top of this current team. Break it up already!!!!!!!! Time to find a real player to build around. Enough of these unmotivated jokers

That's all I'm saying. Trading a few guys in the locker room is key......either if its for guys we've talked about or others.

I might be annoying to some but wtf is the point of saying you don't want Isiah to make any more moves. That's annoying as hell. Its easy to sit back and repeat posts everyday of how dumb someone elses ideas are.

We are on an internet forum about the Knicks! Don't think you are a better loser than anyone else here.

That's all I gotta say. Everyone wants isiah fired. Since he won't get fired cuz of the dolans.....then yes isiah needs to ****ing do something to prepare for the draft and the off-season.

The end.

It's annoying that people think the worst GM in the history of the NBA should be allowed to make more trades. At least the stand pat approach has us moving towards a goal. It's not the exciting and glamorous approach, but lack of patience has a large part to do with why we are where we are. This team won't be good for a few years in almost all scenarios. So, other than waiving players, and trying to make solid draft picks (NO MORE REACHES, ISIAH, PLEASE), there's nothing else for him to do. He shouldn't be allowed to make any more moves.

The above is why Isiah should be fired. But, if he's not fired, then the next best thing is him doing nothing. I've had enough of the quick gratification of a trade, followed by huge disappointment.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I'd recommend you lock yourself since you seem to be going a bit cuckoo now.

There's no need to make ultimatums and demands in a pathetic year like this. Especially when those demands are asking for more trouble.

Anyone that wants to see Isiah Thomas make more trades simply doesn't care about having a longterm future but winning 39 games once even 3-4 years and experiencing a lame high.

that's funny that you tell someone to stop making ultimatums & demands & yet you generalize anyone who wants a trade to be made as someone who cares nothing about the future of this franchise... i'd beg to differ... i care plenty... i thought the whole point of making a trade was to try & improve the franchise going forward? perhaps i'm wrong on that one... the fact that none of us trust Isiah to make a trade that makes sense for this franchise probably rules a trade like this out to begin with since it doesn't hurt us in any way going forward, but there's nothing wrong about discussing the hypothetical... really no need to insinuate any agendas behind someone's opinions that you really have zero idea about to begin with.

seems like people around here have a problem w/trying to make a valid point w/o resorting to degrading other people's opinions & comments... i guess maybe that makes their own points sound more intelligent when they read it back to themselves.

None of what you said had any real meaning to me. If it actually made a point, I'd agree with you. All I said is that if you want Isiah to make a trade and especially the one Eny is asking for than they care more about short-term highs than long term gain. That's not a degradation of anyone. That's just the way it comes off to me.

Anyone who trusts Isiah to clean up his own mess is still suckered into a fictitious world that never existed in the first place.

Thanks.

I'll be honest, it's tough to talk seriously about this team too often. I haven't been this disinterested in the Knicks since before I was a basketball fan. That's at least 15 years ago. 5 years ago, I was fully prepared to have them suck for a few years if it meant us being better in the long run. Today, we're in a worse situation than we were then, and people still haven't caught on to why. It comes simply that, in our situation, any trade which does not have us shedding contracts AND getting younger is a loss. I have no faith in Isiah to do this. Likewise, I think 95% of the league looks at the potential of trading with the Knicks and licks their chops, since the Knicks are a known dumping ground for bad contracts. Until that reputation is shed, we're extremely unlikely to make any trade which fits the criteria I described. So, taking that into account... by god, no trades. To put it differently: Isiah, just say NO to giving up 7 unprotected first rounders for Artest. kthx.
