bitty, really i could care less what people think about my posts, just don't tell me i said something when i haven't... to me, that's the most annoying type of poster here.
& for u to call me overly sensitive when u take each & every opportunity to crack a cheap shot directed my way is pretty laughable... if u don't want me to get worked up, keep ur little snit comments to yourself & talk basketball, bottomline... otherwise ur gonna get just as bad as u wanna give from me... sorry, but that's how i roll.
for u to say i demand agreement from people is also pretty ridiculous... i respect anyone's opinions whether they agree with me or not unless they don't show me respect for mine... explaining my viewpoint when someone insults it like u've been doing for the past few weeks is something i'm gonna do... if u can't handle it tough titties.

That is a typical cop out, but he is the one who twisted what we said about wanting lee and balkman to be the foundation of a team and called it sad.
The key here and it is not hard to understand. Somewhere down the road, you are going to need players like lee and balkman to surround franchise players with. We have them now, why should we get rid of them in some (lee and balkman) in a salary dump. I rather let some of these contracts die, draft smart and keep lee and balkman. I am just tired of going the zach randolph route, those types of trades have killed us for years. Again, zach may be a good guy and he sure puts up good numbers, but to me , he is a selfish, black hole, who passes only out of need. This guy is a stat padder, but hey, if that is whatsome people want for the knicks, then they need not complain about 24 win seasons.. Of course you don't understand b/c you guys have spent this entire thread patting each other on the back remarking how smart and brilliant your scenarios are. If we followed yours and TMS blue-print we are talking about an Altanta Hawks situation which I'm not interested in. So maybe by the year 2011 maybe we are a legit playoff team not NBA title contender but just making the playoffs team.
Its like you guys have these talking points and you say them over and over again. Zach is a blackhole, has questionable character, he is destroying our salary cap, he's hurt the development of our young players. Put the blame where it belongs thats all I ask. Right now I would take the hawks roster, salary cap sitiuation, and record over the knicks.... I agree, in the end, we are all knicks fans, and want whats best for the knicks, that is cool, no need to argue, but... I will say this, our TMS-scenario is one that will cut the repeated mistakes out and end the cycle of quick fixes and overpaid malcontent players. We are just saying, lets give guys like lee and balkman, who by the way are probably the two hardest working and most effective players on this team(when given minutes), and surround them with similar hardworking but more talented players to lead these guys... Listen sometimes you have to put yourself in position for good things to happen. under this regime, we have been rolling the dice on high risk, high cost moves, guys like Dice, Curry, francis and now zach to some extent(he didn't cost much talent wise). All I am saying is lets see if we finish in top a 3 lottery spot, I mean damn, this is another year of sucking and this time we own our pick, so in a few months when we are putting that knicks hat on derrick rose, or Thabeet or beasley, we can start to change things for the better. hell if rose comes in and is the player that most think he will be,just imagine him running the floor with balkman, and lee and nate, I am not saying this is a 50 win team, but damn it is a start, a chance at a franchise type player. Don't you think guys like lee and balk would look great with a nash, or a paul? could you imagine that? well rose has a chance to be that special, and if we just by being patient and letting this season take it's course, we have a chance at seeing that in NY.. and guess what, if we get a top 3 pick and the crop of players don't look to appealing, then just think of the trade value it will have... possibilities man, put yourself in the best position to make something good happen..... not to get fleeced in these steve francis, eddy curry and zach type of cap killing deals! Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser...............
