Say what you want about Dunleavy but he happens to be 100% right about what he said.

It's funny how people are more interested in bashing Dunleavy than disputing what he said. Maybe it's because they can't so it's easier to just bash him.

Dunleavy's absolutely right in what he said, ur 100% right about that, but in fairness you can't really blame people for getting on Dunleavy's case when his team has a worse record... i'm pretty sure you'd get on Isiah's case if he started lecturing about how players should be conducting themselves off the court for example, no matter how dead on his comments may have been.

First of all, we CAN blame people for getting on Dunleavy's case because his team DOES NOT have a worse record than the Knicks. They're currently 15-30 while the lousy Knickerbockers are 14-34. And if people want to say the Knicks played more games (which is a terrible excuse) they can, but LA still has the higher winning percentage.

Dunleavy was only speaking his mind, and let's face it, he's right. When you have the 11th lowest payroll in the NBA, you can ridicule the Knicks by saying exactly what Dunleavy said, since it consisted of asset mismanagement; something the Knicks can easily relate to.

um, dude, when i posted that comment they had a worse record than we did... & do u seriously give a crap if they're 1 game up or down on us? their team sucks too... he's no one to talk, even though what he said was dead on.

The truth is simply just that. I would've handled this in the same manner as I currently am, whether it said by Phil Jackson or Dunleavy himself.

More piling on... I've never seen a team get disrepected the way the Knicks do by their peers. It should really tell you something. Like they feel that the Knicks don't respect themselves or the game so why should we respect them?

These are some pretty damning comments by Sam Cassell:

"This was a game I thought we were going to win," said Quentin Richardson, who suffered a sprained right ankle in the second quarter and did not return. "We were playing to win."

Clippers veteran guard Sam Cassell begged to differ. When asked if he believed the Knicks were giving an effort, Cassell replied, "No, I don't see that. I don't see that aspect of it. I don't see it."

Exactly the TRUTH is the TRUTH doesn't matter where or who it's coming from. It may be harder to digest but nevertheless an absolute constant.

that's like Isiah criticizing another coach's lack of use of his younger players, or flapping his gums about another coach's coaching style or GM's moves too, whether it was the truth or not... i have a feeling you'd be riding him all day long for it... tell me i'm wrong on that one & let's see how many people around here would believe you.
