Of course they were spying on Brown! They had to! He was doing all those wacky trades, like bringing Keith Van Horn to the Knicks!

dumbass, he brought in Tim Thomas.

Tim Thomas was already gone by the time Brown had coached his 1st knicks game. Remember, the Curry deal.

The Future. GO KNICKS!

Isiah Thomas is innocent. Very innocent.

Larry Brown on the other hand is guilty. Very guilty.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Dude- believe what you want- Tyrone Hill, Theo Ratliffe, Arron Mckie, Matt Geiger , Benoit Benjamin, Scott Williams- the list of players he brought in -'veteran' is endless in Philly. I did write a post here - proving how LB doubled the cap and more in just his first 2 years with Philly- its on this forum somewhere. Whatever- i followed him in Philly pretty closely - and I never like his style. He never drafted well and if it wasn't for the superlative talent of Iverson - he was never going to win anything.

The dude coached in the NBa from like 1977 - and only ONCE was ever awarded the coach of the year. He was lucky to get the best talent of that generation David 'skywalker' Thompson while in Denver, had a great cast in the Nets -from Buc Williams , Michael ray Richardson etc, with the Spurs he had David Robinson, anyway - the guy has won ONE championship- ONE!!

True that. Dude won one championship. Isiah hasn't even been .500 in any of his 4+ years here.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Yeah well - he has coached 5 years (3 with the pacers) and two now with the Knicks -went to the playoffs 3 times in 5 tries so far. All he needs is a another 25 years of coaching to tie LB - and I am pretty sure - if he coaches for another 25 years like LB - he will get at least one Conference finals and one championship - just like Larry.

You want to talk about taking over a team with talent. What about when I SAY UGH had the Pacers? He got bounced first round twice producing practically a .500 season one of those seasons. Gets the boot, Carlisle takes over and makes them an instant contender for 2yrs. Not to mention took them farther and finished with a better record than I SAY UGH did in one of his two seasons during the Palace Brawl season when Oneal, Artest, and Jack missed huge chunks of the season.

When are you going to make post not defending I SAY UGH? Just wondering cause you might want to start right away since you're doing such a HORRIFUL job at it.

Yeah - Rick "Barry Switzer" Carlisle -whats your point - that Carlisle took a young team that was jelling and made it to the playoffs for 3 years before him and won 61 games for one season and did worse and worse every year -- yeah whatever - Ric Carlisle is a better coach than Isiah -OK
But the pieces Jermain O neal, Harrigton, Foster, Tinsley, Jones, and winning an inceasing amount of games every year 41,42 and 48 - tie that in. Larry quit (just like Van Gundy)- when he knew the team was done - they lost Mark Jackson, Rik Smits, Derrick McKey, Sam Perkins, Dale Davis.

Let's not forget Larry conveniently stepped in after LB took them to the playoff for 3 straight years - same as Isaiah with indisputably MORE talent. Look - I understand its the American way to take all the credit - you don't have to convince me of that- I am all for it - I used to do it at work all the time.

BTW - Tru - sorry about the horrible job - I guess practice makes perfect eh

I think someone on a few people on the board put it better them me- one - the Knicks have basically won the talent part of most trades. Two - he has collected talent and perhaps not pieces of a team. But generally - i mean you collect talent - and then get them to play together.

Has he made trades that appear and perhaps are less than optimal - most definitely -and I have always said the Q Rich signing was perhaps the worst. I understand that a lot of people are like - well Curry doesn't play defense etc - but really only the top flight centers have great game that way - Yao, Dwight, etc - no one ever said Curry was in that category. Also no has said - but I will say it - the NEw orleans Hornets had the right idea in terms of trading two players and taking on the salary. So I totally agree - the Knicks would hae been better off waiting a year and getting a better deal/player- no argument there.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I think you have a point.
Looks like Isiah will have this 25 years with Knicks if Mr. Dolan will not swap Knicks for some Jazz Recording company…
But I am not sure that last 20 years will be with NBA... They already look good enough to join D-league. Dolan can also make more money by selling the Knicks games broadcast to Comedy Channel. It will be next funny stuff after South Park.

This is new? I thought this story had come out a long time ago by over 100 people in the media. Only to be proven correct when fans started to be ejected from the stadium
I just hope that people will like me
