This is a little in accurate. Those who want losses will comment possibly on how wins at this point piss them off. Then you'll have the DIE HARD come here and say "HOW CAN ANYONE ROOT FOR THEIR TEAM TO LOSE". Then when the team wins the DIE HARDS come here and gloat and say Ha Ha "HATERS SOUR OVER THIS WIN WE KNOW ON THE INSIDE YOU'RE MAD AT THIS WIN". The Hater will then question how such Fanfare rooting for wins when all the odds suggest losses would do more good than wins for the team's future and the DIE HARD can't come up with any better rationale other than the fact wins provides them with a Knicks fix.

A perfect example was the Back-to-Back excuse disgust by the Haters against I SAY UGH only for the DIE HARD LOVERS to come back and Flip That Ish when a couple wins of ours came in the wake of a team's Back-to-Back situation.

Its hilarious really. Earls a good guy. He was well liked when he posted in that other forum. He sat down with DJ for a game at MSG. He is one of the good guys. You don't have to worry that he will attack you. Yet, he is ceaselessly attacked becasue of his positivity. I mena,. i know people can be annoyed at pollyannas but thats the only thing he is guilty of. Loving and rooting for the Knicks.

he may well be a good guy but since he's been here he's come off as hugely condescending & sarcastic & that's rubbed plenty of people the wrong way... whatever he did to get himself endeared on the other forum he hasn't followed through with here... he regularly disrespects the opinions of others & demeans them w/his flowery backhanded comments... this has nothing to do w/his positivity persay... people aren't stupid, they know when they're being insulted & so far he's never once apologized to anyone for it when called out for doing so... pretty much the same situation as Papabear only he's a lot more coy about it.

I've been insulted by people on this site too... nobody has ever offered an apology. And since i'm still posting here, I guess I didn't feel like an apology was something i needed or was ever going to receive.

Earl went away for a while and now he's back. People can change.

Lets let bygones be bygones. As long as someone can show they are willing to change their bad ways, we should give them the chance. So far, this thread has been free of insults right? Maybe its a new leaf. Maybe before we begin the fierce winds of UK we should let that leaf grow.

Or, you can decide whether the following quote is sanitized Knicks-speak or an indication of a few guys surviving the madness and starting to believe in each other:

Why not observe the game for a change and consider how the game of basketball is being played?

Why are Knicks turnovers down and assists suddenly up? Why did 4 guys hit a balanced double figures?

Then again, is it more important to eliminate dissent, brand lovers versus haters, toss another stone at someone's head, or have everyone in some lock-step negative NY opinion on an hourly basis, no matter how the tidbits of daily evidence change?

true cosmic, but then you have some like myself and a few others, who are here, good and bad. who only care about seeing good basketball and appreciating wins when we get them.. the problem is, those who are here rooting for loses and tanking, take cheap shots at those who like it when the knicks occasionally win and call them, us, flip floppers, accepting mediocrity, the typical BS.. I think that is where a lot of the problems start.... If you want the knicks to lose, then good, but don't piss on others who occasionally enjoy a knicks win..... And it also goes the same way. If the knicks win a few games, don't start baiting, especially when history shows that the knicks will win a few and revert back to losing...

Hey, you know me, I don't root for losing. I want the team to win but since they don't I want a change and it's amazing to me that a horrible team can string together a couple of opportunistic wins - and then a select band of individuals suddenly show back up, try to tear everyone a new *******, and claim they know all there is to know in the universe.

That's... well, ridiculous lol. Where are they now? Uhhhh.. "busy with family". lol... until the next victory of course.
