This is the Wizards 4th game in 5 nights. They're coming off 3 wins in the first 3 games, with the last 2 being extremely impressive wins against the Boston Celtics. This game has "letdown" written all over it.

I hope the Wizards saw what happened to the Pistons on Sunday and see it as a cautionary tale. But after those big back to back wins against the Celtics, it's going to be hard for them to get up for the pathetic Knicks.

Told ya so.

They just keep getting farther and farther away from a top pick and closer and closer to Isiah staying because Fredo is a moron.

LOL. fredo..

Question. Do you think dolan would fire Isiah if we lost 20 straight games? I mean after two of the most embarrasing losses at home this year he was seen comming out of Isiahs office laughing!

Do you REALLY need to ask that question?

IslesFan: Props to "Fredo" - that's a damn near perfect comparison.

Hey, you're supposed to beat the injured teams and the tired teams.

Does Washington get to use the Arenas/Antonio Daniels/Etan Thomas injuries and the back-to-backs as legit excuses?

No, But, They do get to use the Isiah "The Schedule is at fault, you expect us to win a back to back on the ROAD!?" excuse!

I'm slowly starting to enjoy it when the Knicks win. Even though I still think this team has no future it is good to see them play well once in a while. I'm trying not to worry about the "This makes Isiah less likely to be fired" thing right now. Mostly because there's no guarantee he would have been anyway. Oh well, at least i picked the Knicks to win tonight's game, although I got the spread wrong.

We're never going to have a future. It gets down to how exciting did our team make us as they win 33-37wins.

I don't understand. Are people just happy with winning 30 games every season and getting the 9th pick? I mean people act mad as hell and then we go on a 2 game winning streak and they forget about everything. It's really sad. This must be how Dolan views things. People complain about the man and yet you follow his gameplan. Give me a break.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I'm not following Isiah's gameplan (whatever that means), and I still want him to be fired. There's no way Dolan feels the same way about it as I do because if he did than he'd be working on a buyout package for Isiah as I type these words. But still, I like it when the Knicks play well. I guess it's kind of a weird habit I developed.

Look on the bright side. wasn't amare the 9th pick in the draft back in 2002?

The opposite side of that (and to beat a dead horse) is Isiah drafted Channing Frye with the eighth pick, when he could have had Andrew Bynum.

But I'm more concerned with Dolan buying Isiah's spin job of "WOW! We just beat Detroit and Washington! Get the championship floats made!" Because Dolan might buy that.

Our fan base is so wretched they don't know which way is up, right from their left, or even if the sky is blue. The funny thing is our season is only going to get tougher, and then we'll have these same fans trying to be front runners and sticking their chest out as chief scouts on which player we should draft this summer. Wins like today make you more pissed when you look back at the schedule and saw how they squandered wins against Philly and Seattles of the world. This team has done it like no other the past 5yrs of......

strip teasing like a STANK DIME TRICK HOE and of course the Homeristic NITWITS "Make It Rain On Em", when they do.

Come on guys.
It's all simple.
This group including Isiah cannot play under pressure.
The pressure is off (with 8-26 you know you will not get anywhere) and now they will play 50% ball. Factorial...
And if they will suddenly get close to the play-offs (see last year) they will immediately fold even more miserably.
This team is lost case for many years already....

That's a great point... much easier to win when everyone (including the fanbase) disrespects your game. I'm not sure how much of it is laziness and how much of it is mental underdevelopment, but once the expectations shift to more wins again the Knicks will undoubtedly start losing again.
