so far Westbrooke & McGee look like they have real star potential like u predicted, but the other 2 haven't shown anything... can we wait til Gallo actually has been given a shot to show something like those other guys have before we judge him? that's all i ask.

Bayless was picked by the wrong team. Talk about taking the bPA--maybe they did for them but they had 9 guards already. Bayless has to be pirsed. Both Bayless and Randolph were top notch first team all SL guys--Randolph played very well last night. I really thought before the draft if we had any chance to get 2 of those 4 guys giving up Lee I wouldve done it with the intention of primarily getting Randolph Mcgee. If Bayless was on the Knicks--I think he'd be thriving and we would have one more very explosive player on the team.

i dunno if u can say that when we already have Jamal & Nate who'd be seeing minutes ahead of him... he might be seeing Mardy's minutes but not likely... Mardy is brought in for defense for the most part & Bayless isn't exactly known for his D, is he?

if Nate was traded then i can easily see Bayless having a significant role on this Knicks team, but he wasn't... all the comparisons i heard of Bayless was that he was more of an undersized scoring combo G in the mold of a Monta Ellis, so he wasn't a viable option to start at the point, so he woulda been playing behind Duhon too for that matter.

we had a need for a true PG, some depth at the swing position as well as in our frontcourt C position going into the draft... there were no viable PG's we could have drafted other than DJ Augustine & he wasn't exactly a no brainer at #6 either... looking back McGee may have been the smarter pick for us & our current need, i agree, but Walsh apparently felt that Gallo was the BPA... or maybe it was Isiah who felt he was & advised Walsh to pick him, who knows... all i know is i don't know how much upside Gallo has really cuz i haven't seen enough of him to tell... unless some of you have been following Italian league teams for the past couple years, then i'm pretty sure none of you know enough about him either so we mine as well just wait til we do get a more clearer sample before we even start talking about it, no?
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
