nixluva - the players don't care either. the whole lot of them need to go. get rid of the coach/gm immediately. then over the next 3 years, dump all of these idiots.

You know I have considered that, but I also think that Isiah has lost faith in them. Why I say that is cuz he's completely changed the offense from a post up with perimeter motion game to just stand around and feed the post. He's not giving them anything to give them confidence. He doesn't infuse any energy from the bench. I just think a coach can also kill a teams enthusiasm and fire with what he does or doesn't do.

i think a big part of it is that these players don't know how to run plays, and that starts with the guards. lb said he had to dumb down the playbook. and isiah is having to do the same.

I don't give a rats ass if he can get rebound, Q_rich cannot consistently hit a shot from the outside, he needs to be benched. Curry and Zach may be pinwheels on defense but at least they are able to score on the other end.

I wish LA would actually trade Kobe, even though Buss never would. Imagine how it would be to watch Kobe everyday in a Knicks uniform.. he's just too damn good.

I want Qrich to beat someone up. He has earned this right.

He is my favorite knick. He wants a piece of Marbury and Isiah.

Take those two out and you might have something.

I don't accept that. If you talk to any one of these players you can tell right away that they aren't stupid. If you run practice with a purpose to install a mental approach to the game that doesn't change no matter what the defense does, then you'll see it on the floor. What i'm seeing is that there are times when we do the things needed for long stretches, but the fact that we come out in a game like this and immediately you don't see the basic principles of BB you need to see it tells me that they aren't focusing on those things in practice.

You can see a well coached team run sets with precision even with bad players. How? You drill it and drill some more until it's second nature. You brain develops an instinctive reaction to things you do with repetition. Like boxing or martial arts. You do the exercises over and over and eventually when someone tries to attack you, you react instinctively. I've seen it done MANY times. Even the military knows this. It's why a coach like Belechick can be successful and his teams are always able to execute with precision. It's all about what you focus on in practice.

this team is uncoachable. you keep saying well coached team - i think the coaches try to coach them. but they must abandon all plans b/c the players don't execute. no execution equals blowout after blowout.

nix, what you are talking about are BLIPS on the radar. and if the coach tries to hold them to task, the players go into a shell and quit.

'luva, with this team you basically have three choices when it comes to coaches:

- Isiah

- the coach Isiah can't work with

- the coach the players will quit on

pick your poison.

barring this little mini 2 minute run, the Knicks offense is just WAY too predictable... Isiah's plays consist of force feeding whoever he thinks is hot... but what he doesn't realize is that we don't have a Kobe on our team...

And as bad as Malik is on offense, (18% FG shooting), his +/- is off the charts for us.. probably because he is involved in all of these blow out, mini runs
David f'n Lee for President!!

Isiah: We made a run. You see, we're good.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
