I ain't holding my breath, because I still don't trust them. They'll have to win ten or fifteen in a row and make a significant run to first place, before I make any sudden moves. To me, it's all just another flash in the pan. They did this before and seem to do it once or twice a season and then it all comes tumbling down when you start to beleive again. You can fool me twenty-three times, but ya can't fool me twenty-four times!
I'll never trust this' team again.

Don't look now but if the Knicks lose to the Nets, they will have lost 3 out of their last 4 games.

That's not "crazy", "weird" or "totally nuts". Just typical and expected of them ever since Isiah got here.

This is silly. Arbitrary time horizon. You could also say they've:
lost 4 of their last 7,
or 10 of their last 14,
or 11 of their last 16 (this season),
or 60 of their last 98 (this and last season).
What's the point?

Are they playing well? No they are not. That's what matters.
Have they turned any kind of corner? No.

Prior to the loss to Phoenix, they had won 1 out of their last 1 game, for a record of 100% over that stretch. Lets give Zeke credit where credit is due.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Well, now we've won 3 of 5! Soon to be 3 of 6 when we head to Jersey on Wednesday. Ooooo .500 play exactly the ceiling of this team! I'm estatic!!!

Hey, Isiah thinks we're so stupid that he can rip "won 3 of 4" out of his ass and expect us to forget we've won 5 of 16.

I loved his speech when we were 2-6 "We could just as easily be 6-2".

If ever there was a time to get back into this thing, that time is now. If we play up to our abilities 4 of the next 5 are very winnable games. We could end up 9-12 and are right back in the mix. The Knicks are more than capable of doing so.

My prediction however, 2-3

They don't have 82 games left to play and you can't be factoring playoffs because no way do 35 or so wins get us in. We've melted down 2 of our last 3gms.

I'm tellin ya's I've got the answer to how to view the season. Maybe it's because I'm awesome or maybe it's because a blind squirrel finds a nut. Regardless...

If you think it will take 41-41 to make the playoffs then you see that the team must go 36-30 to get there.

If you think it'll take 40 wins, then 35-31. Etc.

Now, you take that number, NOW you look at what they've accomplished so far (winning 5 of 16 games) and ask yourself: Can my team REALLY go 36-30 to close the season?
