Take shots at Penny and turn this into an issue about him all you want, but this complaint has been here before and after his tenure here. Its the equivalent of trying to discredit accusers of a dirty cop by bringing up one person's shoplifting record. Talk about misdirection.

Knicks medical staff is garbage and unaccountable. Like Solace said, alarming.

The Knicks medical staff might be bad, but Penny was damaged goods long before he played here.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I'm sorry but Penny has made over 100 mil in his career...He can't consult with his own Doc's about the knees that made him a 100 mil?..I love this country, it always someone else's fault...

I'm sorry who wanted the medical staff replace none other than isiah thomas, mr everything, mr i will never take a team to the playoffs

The medical staff that Isiah replaced is the one that bungled Ewing, Houston, and McDyess.

I dont see how they could have bungled on Ewing and Houston. They just busted their bodies playing the game hard. As for Dyess he was damaged goods. But they could have bungled his medical exam.

I dont see how they could have bungled on Ewing and Houston. They just busted their bodies playing the game hard. As for Dyess he was damaged goods. But they could have bungled his medical exam.

Ewing said the Knicks medical staff told him he could not hurt his ankle (achilles) any further in '99 and he could play in the playoffs, but he in fact did hurt it further, so he was unable to play in the finals, and his ankle is what finally forced him to retire.

Houston was brought back way to quickly after his microfracture as well as previously cleared to play through injury he should have let heal or gotten an operation for.

McDyess was examined and cleared by the same staff: Pow! A blowed up knee!

It's all on the records.
