Hey! My Koolaid tastes terrible!
5 cents for a Big Snack is not a good deal.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Just as predicted. Another move that comes back to haunt the Knicks? I thought we should have kept him, and everyone figured either the Cavs or Celts would sign him.

What really hurts is 'its not so much that we still have triple cheesburger, hold the onions, but how come they just didn't let Fred go, to make a spot available'?

And some thought he should have accepted the offer to play in Europe.

Why would he do that, when he could leave and play with LeBron?

Just unreal. This kid will be a valuable commodity. Mark that. Isiah picked him out an showcased him, doing all the hard work for another club.

That makes total sense.
I'll never trust this' team again.

understand your point but considering there are players that have no future with this team still on it, this was basically a totally wasted transaction.

It's not really a wasted transaction. It would have been nice to keep Nichols but the transaction was Frye and a Francis salary dump for Zach Randolph. Nichols was at the periphery.

The Cavs are in a totally different situation. It's Lebron and the Pips. Can you name the Pips? I can name one of them: Demetrius.

The Frye/Francis for Randolph and extras trade had nothing to do with DNic.

2 completely different trades, so yes, this was a completed wasted transaction.

At least he ended up with a good organization and in a good situation. Hopefully he plays for along time and has lots of success. At least Isiah got to show him who the boss was.

You guys are putting it like Nichols is Ray Allen or something, please the guy is a good shooter but overrated player.

No ones saying he's Ray Allen. I will balk at someone who said he'll lit the Knicks up with about 50. That's pushing it a little. But from all accounts, inclduing the summer games, a fine potential outside threat that might come back to haunt Isiah. The fact that Cleveland picked him up says something.

When Nichols comes into the game against the knicks, Isiah better but Wilson Chandler in the game to show him up.

I don't want a, no perimitter playing; guaranteed contract having; knicks backcourt wanna be; to try and guard him.

I'm a little perplexed as to what it is exactly your saying.
I'll never trust this' team again.

What makes you guys so sure that a player that just signed today a rookie at that is going to play on the 2nd game of the season for the Cavs?

You guys are blowing the Nichols thing out of the water, yeah I would keep him over snack but ya'll are putting it like if he is Jesus Shuttlesworth.

WTF!?! This really sucks.

It's funny. This was mentioned a few days ago and I think yesterday, that Cleveland might pick him up and no one seemed angry about it. Didn't really speak out about it and yet, in reality it has happened and now guys are up in arms. I guess no one wanted to believe anyone' would pick him up. The psychology of Knick fans!

Wait a sec... You mean Nichols could've gone to play in Europe for a year and instead chose to play in Cleveland next to LeBron? What's wrong with this kid and his agent?

he fired his agent... because of the planned Euro-trip that he wasn't privy to
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Do non-assets get picked up that quickly by contending teams?

Would JJ have been picked up like that?

Would Malik Rose have?

Would Fred Jones have?

Let's play 'how many times can Isiah & Dolan get stooped?'

Larry Brown took him and Dolan for a ride. John Paxon got him with the overrated Curry deal. Anucha did him & Dolan in and now Nichols agent (or newest agent). There's other instances, but you get the picture.

No, except for Fred Jones, of course. He'd be snapped up in a milisecond. You don't ignore that kind of manpower when it becomes available.
