They say it takes a big man to say they're sorry and admit when they're wrong.

I am a big man. Just ask you mom.

But hey, how do you know Cossucks wasn't talking about the David Lee tip-in against the Bobcats, huh?

Umm because we were specifically talking about Curry?

Seriously, try to keep up. I know it's hard for you but keep trying.

I'm not a Curry hater but simply an impartial observer in the argument between Isles and Rembee(although this will change rapidly if Isles keeps making my mama jokes). I am actually rooting for Rembee in this argument because it's about time that Isles got his comeuppance. But the bottom line is when I look at the facts, Cliff Robinson simply wanted the ball more than Curry. Something that happens far to often around this 7 foot 300 lb. physical beast. No one should be apologizing for him. That play is just a microcosm of how he has performed on the boards to date(7 rebounds per game). It is up to him to change this.

The man is 7 feet, 285 lbs and averages 7 rebounds per game(as a career high). How can anyone defend that.

I appreciate the support Bip.

I might get my comeuppance on this board someday, but that day isn't today and it's certainly not going to come from somebody like RemBee.

Rembee, don't take that from him. Isles is out of control. You have to get this ba-stard. Give the man his comeuppance.

And to think, this all started because RemBee was too stupid to check his info before he decided to use it in a weak attempt to ridicule me.

Bippity, Curry is a bad rebounder. We all agree he has to work on that. No one is defending it.

Has there been any new news on the subject since the last time we talked about it?

What? Curry has lost wait and seems focused this off-season?

Doesn't mean anything, and don't forget, Curry was a bad rebounder last year...

And the cycle continues.

I'd take an obtuse conversation with Isles any day of the week over participating in it.

No, this all started with some good news about Curry.

But it has devolved the way similarly well intentioned threads so often do here, once the three members of the T-Birds chime in.

I agree with you 10000000%. Curry is a bad rebounder. NOthing has changed since your last conversation with Isles. Curry has not had time to fix it this year. Isles is a big meanie. And my mother is still a very feminine women.

Bip it cant be defended but I will give it a shot.:)

Curry is 6-11 not 7 feet
Clif Robinson is 6-10 and never averaged 7 rpg
Nenad Krtsic is 7 feet and never averaged 7 rpg
Jason Collins is 7 feet and never averaged 7 reb per game
Brad Miller and Mehmet Okur made all star teams averaging 7-8rpg

7 foot Patrick Ewing had his shot blocked by Moguesy Bogues how can you defend that?

7-6 Yao Ming had his shot blocked by Nate Robinson how can you defend that?

The Knicks before Curry were a bad rebounding team. The Knicks in Currys 2 years have been a very good rebounding team

Curry came in the nba straight from HS and he wasnt ready. Some are ready straight from HS but some arent. He needed that college coaching to teach him all the things he has been learning on the fly. He has basically had a new head coach every year as well.

Lastly Curry is a below average rebounder. He has to improve that aspect of his game. If basketball was all about that 1 stat Curry would be a weak player but fortunately there are many aspects to the game. Some Curry is dominant in and some he is weak in. The good thing is that he is only 24 years old and his production is going up not down. He worked hard to come in to camp in shape and will be working to improve many aspects of his game including rebounding.

And like any fair person I talk about his good points and I talk about his bad points. If I'm going to laud his post game I have no problem getting on him for his pi-ss poor rebounding. I just call it the way I see it and am mature enough to comment on these things in a fair way whether the guy is on my team or not. IF someone asks me my opinion on a player I don't sugarcoat it becuase a guy is on the KNicks. Curry is young. He can improve. If he gets it right he could be one of the best players in the league. He has that ability. But until he gets it right I have no problem calling out his minuses and applauding his strengths.

Number 2: Rebounding and defense have nothing to do with age. It's his mindset. When he decides that they are important to him, he will improve in these categories and fans will get off his back. Not before. That's what sports are about. When you go well people applaud you. When you go poorly they boo you. That's life.

I think you can improve many aspects of a game with age and experience. As your body matures and your mind matures your experience plays more and more a role. Patrick Ewings rebounding improved as he aged. Steve Nash didnt become a great player until his 30's. :)

As far as fans on his back I think most fans support Curry and this board doesnt represent most fans. Still NY is known for booing many great players over the years. Patrick was booed. Clyde was booed.
