Jamal likely loses weight over the course of the season, so it's not hard to imagine that if he's not running day and night, but instead changes his diet to include more protein, lifts heavy with low reps to maximize muscle gains and is under the guidance of a pro, he could put on a good deal of mass. Now he might be carrying a bit more water and fat than he used to in addition to the extra muscle, but he's likely not going to keep all of that after the rigors of camp and the season.
Eddy is a big guy naturally and being cut is not necessary for a guy like him. As long as he's not carrying too much extra fat, he's good. I'm more concerned with the fitness level of his muscle. If he's stronger and quicker then that's a good sign.

Eddy was in shape last year and was basically injury free.
Eddy was great last year and established himself on the team. We should focus on what he does more than what he does not. He is a rare commidity in the league these days. At 25 he is fully grown and needs to show all he can do on both ends. That is our hope, but what is remains to be seen.
