Maybe all that stuff that TrueBlue pointed out are not all Sterns fault (Although he certainly should get credit), but they certainly are things that are true. Slowly but surely, they league is burning down, and the quality of play is clearly deteriorating. It's hard to tell if Stern actually realizes this. I think the only thing he realizes is that the NBA finals ratings are low and that his league is fighting an image crisis.
Stern absolutely does have a lot of work to do. Hard to tell if he's the man to do that.
Oh btw, weren't those hand checking rules placed AFTER Jordan retired?
I find it comical that some feel Stern should be given credit for the accomplishments of great stars but please don't try and pin the blame on him for their failures. Give me a break!
I'm not going to go into detailed explanations how he is a part of such problems I listed with the league. Connect the dots and anyone with common sense will see the degrees of separation aren't that far away from him being the source of them.
Stern has had a lot of problems, so what, so do a lot of other commissioners.
I can't connect the dots on how Stern is responsible for the players' Free Throw shooting. Help me out with just one example.
So far you are just ranting and have provided little backup of your claims. And then you try to skate away with "they should all be self explanatory".
If you have a point to make, make it.
