Nobody's overly excited. Its just good to hear. But of course, when someone posts something positive about Curry, in come the twinkie jokes, or, it took him long enough to finally work out or, he's working out but....It just doesn't end.

Are you talking about the crap that Knicks fans have had to endure or the sarcasm that realistic Knicks fans use because of it?

Crap? The crap we've endure over the past 7-8 years goes beyond Curry. Curry didn't trade himself here and force Isiah to give up a lotto pick and swap another.

You don't hear the same things said about other players except JJ (and formerly MoT).

BTW, JJ and Mo T aren't in the same league as Curry.

I didn't mean to suggest it was all about Curry when I said "crap". I meant everything since Dolan took over and then especially since Isiah got here to insult our intelligence every chance he got.

Where R the overly excited people?

Can't you just picture bigbeast shaking uncontrollably while attempting, and failing, to suppress a huge smile while typing this?

I'd like him to answer....."WHY WAS THIS THREAD EVEN CREATED"?

Exactly! When somebody posts that somebody on RealGM has a friend who's cousin's god brother
saw Eddie in Home Depot (not the gym mind you) with some guy (who might have been a trainer, but there
was no evidence to this except he's white with tats (huh?!)) seems to me that he's pretty excited about
Eddie's phenomenally successful summer.

finally that fat bum is working out. i still would've prefered if he worked out with the team instead of making some BS lie.

All-Stars who feel they were Snubbed should be in the gym getting in the best shape possible. To avoid being BRIUSED N' BROKEN again. Really no one would care if Curry was fat as long as he delivered on the court. Shaq has been guilty of not being an off-season overachiever but when he stepped on the court he brought it 80-90% of the time on both ends. So Curry could drop down to Reggie Miller type body fat but if he's only going to be a mediocre 1-Way player it doesn't matter.

COSSUCKS, here you go:

I am proud Eddy is working out hard this Summer, or so I'm happy that's what the reports are. However, I will be even more proud that he'll be in shape to play both ends of the floor for a full NBA season, starting the beginning of November (Or end of October.) Until then, to me, it's just teasing hype that I don't get excited about.

Same thing with Nate Robinson. I am happy he is claiming he is working on being a calmer player. I am rooting for him hard as hell b/c he was always one of my favorite players. But until he shows at the beginning of the season until his career ends, that he can do that, then it's just hype to me.

COSSUCKS, what I'm really trying to say is, this is the Knicks offseason and it's also mine. I don't care. I EXPECT them to be in shape this Summer, b/c they are getting paid for that, and they are on my team, and they represent the Knicks and the state of NY. I will be SHOCKED if he doesn't hit that expectation and I will be bashing the crap out of him if he's too out of shape to play defense and rebound, and I don't care how good his offense is. And I will be bashing the crap outta Nate if he's not backing up what people are saying what he's doing. Same with all of the other players. This is their job and their life. Being in shape should be the least of our worries.

I agree with you, and I'm just as frustrated with all the losing and switching of plans as anyone. But Curry, whether you hate his game or not, I think gives us an identity. Curry also gives you a blueprint to build with. It might or might not be a solid foundation, but its a start. Curry is a dominant interior scorer. Its Isiah's job to compliment him (not build around him).

Better yet, why would Curry's teammate think it was necessary to point out that Eddy was "already" in the gym?

And why would Curry's teammate express surprise that Curry was working out?

Forget someone's cousins, uncle's brother, Q said Curry was working out. Is that not a more reliable source?

This is why its hard to take things you say seriously. Nobody mentioned a friend, cousin or brother. It was a first account posting from a guy that is not a Knicks fan.
