all i'm saying is i'd like to see a responsible plan with regard to cap management, & a plan in regards to getting the right mix of players that complement one another... if we're going to go all in on these starphuch deals, then at least target some more well rounded talent than the Zach Randolph's & Stephon Marbury's of the world... i'm sick of all these perfunctory trades that are made with nothing else in mind but to sell tickets & lack any real longterm vision... i'm sick of taking on the albatross contracts of every other team in the NBA & not seeing any tangible positive results... you say i have no patience, but it's the incompetence that i have no patience for, not the fact that i have to wait to see improvement... if i had a sense that a real plan was in place & that management & ownership were sincerely trying to build a championship contender over the longterm, then i wouldn't be saying crap right now... don't tell me i have no patience when i was keeping an open mind on just about all of Isiah's past deals... sooner or later you have to get the freakin hint that this guy simply doesn't have a plan... he's just throwing doodoo on the wall & seeing if it sticks.

i've never once complained about the Curry trade or Jamal trade because i did & still do think those were good moves, but there were other trades that Isiah's made that were clearly disasters, & even though i might have supported a few of them at the time, it's clear now that those haven't worked out in our favor... this is the process of learning when you don't necessarily at first know what the correct course of action to find the solution to a problem... you learn through trial & error... after 4 years, it's clear to me that the path that we're on is NOT working... it's time to change paths & take on a new direction, because taking on these huge contracts of players that don't fit the mold of what we're currently in need of to fill major needs on this team is not only a huge waste of money, but also a huge waste of our time... & no matter how patient you choose to be, after a while you need to see some tangible results in order to justify it.

TMS - do you like Ron Artest as a basketball player?

Do you think his acquisition would result in tangible dividends in the win-lose column?

Artest as a basketball player i love... his off the court issues are a big risk, but his contract is not... that's why i wouldn't mind taking a chance on him... if he was making a max salary for the next 4 years, hell no i wouldn't want him on this team.

dj - Did you say media outlets?

consider the dismal ratings of the NBA Finals

Artest comes home and everyone will watch. Either way, trainwreck or playoff run, its great entertainment

the national television schedule, suddenly changes in the Knicks favor

buzz is in the air at 2 Penn Plaza and the scalpers have a field day.

Cablevision goes to the bank.

somewhere David Stern is smiling
