Panos, it's not that i'm trying to prove you right or wrong... just making a point that it irks me when people bring up the fact that we didn't draft this guy or that guy in hindsight after they already know how those players turned out at the NBA level (unless it's painfully obvious as was the case in the Frederic Weiss over Ron Artest fiasco)

I hear you. That's why I'm willing to go on the record now to say that I think Law and Young will be bigger impact players than Noah, and I also happen to think that they are more of IT's type of player.

TMS - am I on the record with this?

if u want to be, sure... don't worry, i will personally vouge for you if the time comes & you're proven right... cool?

Just for kicks, sure.

Getting back to the topic on this thread, I'd be willing to trade an unprotected first for a younger shooting guard who hits the trey consistently and plays some d - Kevin Martin is a great example.

yeah, there are several young players w/reasonable contracts that i would include... i'm trying to keep this to players who have been at least talked about in trade rumors this year.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

It depends on who is in the draft.

Who really cares if its a Barningni, Bogut, Olawkandi, Kwaeme Brown, Kmart, Joe Smith top pick kind of draft?

People always act like the unknown is going to be great.

Every lottery pick is going to be a stud.

Every lottery ticket is going to be a winner.

Adam Morrison was drafted #3 last year. What happened?

bargnani? i'm going to chalk that up to the paint chips you just ate this morning.

when all is said and done, bargnani may make wilt's #'s look paltry...and i'm not talking about basketball either.
