So far, the average predicated win total is 40.7.
That is including TRU's outlying 50 win prediction,
but not including BlueSeats 60 wins, which I believe was a joke.

Hmm... I wonder if last year's average was higher.

I want TRU to be correct, but 50 is awfully optimistic. I'll take the bet.

I understand this is all in fun, but what is point in making a prediction when it is still too early to know what the team will look like in November. That being said, I predict 44 wins and 38 losses based the current structure of the team and assuming everyone comes back healthy (and Collins and Balkman made some improvement in their jumpers).

I'll go with 40-45 wins, but I do agree that it's too early.

I think each 2 collections of players we have can make about 40 wins but together this group will not pass 35.
After another "big" trade they can drop to 28/33 depending on trade stuppidity level

i don't want to speak for anyone else, but i would have expected this team to be much further along by now than to be projected for a 40 win season next year... i guess the next milestone is to finish above .500 maybe in 2009.

Some injuries can be overcome and some cant. Thats just reality.
Losing your 6th best player can be overcome. Losing 4 of your top 6 players at the same time usually can not be overcome.
When people ask how did the Spurs went from 54 wins to getting Duncan the first thing they say is that team had injuries to key players.
