Last year would have been Currys 2nd year in the NBA no different than Lee or Frye

But it wasn't. He's had six years of NBA experience. Again, that's significant. If you're saying he made a bad decision by not going to college, I agree. If you're saying that an NBA veteran and a sophomre should be playing at the same level, I disagree.

Regardless, the main point is your example was silly. Pick a better example if you're going to choose one. How about Jermaine O'Neal? That's everyone's favorite example except when it comes to winning.

24 is 24.

If you put a 10 year old in college you dont expect him to be as mature physically or mentally as a 22 year old when he turns 14 and graduates.

Just because somebody is placed in the NBA doesnt mean they are ready physically or mentally to be in the nba at 18. That was to Currys detriment not an asset. Curry did not have th benefits that guys going to college get and no a 6 year vet at age 29 is not the same as a 6 year vet at age 24.

What about K.G. and Kobe?

They are exceptions not the rule. If they were the rule than every 18 year old coming in the draft would be the same way. Actually Kobe was far from a star early on.

Look at curry as the starting center here 33 and 23

Patrick Ewing first 2 years as a Knicks center:
23 wins 1986
24 wins 1987

Next. LOL

And at Georgetown??????

A Winner!

And Curry was a winner at Thornwood . Next! LOL

So your saying at the same age Ewing=Curry?

Did I say That?
I dont remember saying that?
Is it possible you have reading comprehension problems?

So why don't you clarify for everyone, what are you trying to say?

And can you please explain why you keep "LOL"ing after saying "Next"? The only thing funny about it, is that you think it's a clever response. Well not really funny, just pathetic.

This post is just plain dumb, your defending the fact that this team is made up of selfish guards Nate, Crawford, Marbury, and stat whores.

Players like that don't produce wins, Marbury forced his way out of the playoffs and a great situation because he is ignorant and wanted to be the man and was jealous of garnett and where it has gotten him is 9 playoff games in 13 years. You spend your entire tenure as a knick proclaiming your greatness, and somehow convince everyone that you had a great season after you quit on your team, didn't join in the huddle and sulked, only to realize you needed to improve your image after the first months of the season.

Crawford came from the Bulls and as bad as we were we managed to win less games the past three seasons with him starting at the sg position than when we had an eisley/ward houston backcourt. Now why is it that someone 6'5 and long with all world skills can't play defense or make anyone but curry's job easier.

Nate celebrates his scoring/dunking during losses, tries the bounce the ball to himself and dunk it in the midst of a losing streak????

Curry refuses to rebound and help teammates, complains and does nothing when he is not being force fed.

Jerome James and Curry don't workout in the offseason and play their way into shape. You can't run a suicided without your teammates help, your a ****ing disgrace.

And they have the nerve to pronounce themselves a playoff teams if the injuries didn't hit even though they were 7 games under .500 in the most disgraceful east we have seen in years. While they complained about the home fans, curry no being an all-star, the league against them. Winners don't make countless excuses.

Thats your Knicks right now, minus Richardson, Lee, Collins, Balkman

I agree. Part of the problem with these guys is lack of maturity. The young guys need to grow up and a vets like Marbs and Craw need to own up and step up. For me, last year was the best I've seen Marbs. There were some games when I did see some D.

Maybe the Knicks should bring John Starks and Oak to the coaching staff to teach them what real D, hustle and consistency are.

Ok. I think your argument is ridiculous, but it is your opinion. Despite that we know people grow, physicall and mentally mature at all different rates, in your world, all is equal. I think you're putting too much into age, since I've seen 20 year olds more mentally mature than Curry at 24 and more mentally mature than Marbury at 30. Does that mean that those players should be given excuses for being slow developers? Not in my book. Curry physically matured earlier than a lot of players. That should've been an advantage, yet we continue to make excuses for him because he's lazy and has a low basketball IQ. That's fine; I expect no less from a lover.

Yeah I do like a 24 year old center that leads the nba in points in the paint. They dont grow on trees. I saw a post on another board where quite a few players including Lebron and Dwight Howard fell over themselves praising Curry last season. Maybe the guys that actually have to play against him have more of an idea than you or me? What do you think?
