why would u wanna settle in having the poor man's version of a team that never won a title? don't u wanna be able to at least try to go for a higher goal of a more talented player someday?

I never said I want to settle. However, we have to live in reality. I want to get better in a realistic world.

oohah

Oh' you been wanting to settle for less since you were born' come on!
I'll never trust this' team again.

what's that mean? that realistically we're destined to always be a day late & a dollar short of ever winning an NBA championship? the only reason that's a reality is because of the mentality that we have to do whatever it takes just so we can desperately make those playoff appearances instead of building up a team that can actually contend for a title someday... all these band aid quick fix solutions have gotten us nowhere for the past decade... don't u ever get sick of repeating the same mistakes over & over? i mean how many times do trades like this have to blow up in our face for us to realize that we gotta approach things a different way & that not always getting the best available talent in a trade is the best thing for the franchise longterm? u have to keep the cap situation in mind & think about the big picture.

Do you honestly believe this team will be under the cap in time for the 2010 class? I'm sure he'll try (no evidence yet unless you count Duhon's contract) but looking at this roster, I dont see it. I hope I'm wrong, but in the meantime, if a talent like Wallace is available you jump on it. We would still be in the same space that we are in now with Wallace. Zach, Craw, Q and JJ2 would still be on the roster with or without the Wallace move. I still dont see how those guys will be moved but I guess we shall see.

I for one honestly believe that if Donnie is close enough to make the major Lebron catch, and if it's a buyout away, then dolan would be absolutely stupid not' to make that happen. If he is a true business man, then he will know that buying out a contract to make room for Lebron will INSTANTLY make the Knicks one of the favorites in the playoffs and get back all of the money he has lost and then some in no time.

So yes' believe we can do it! Believe it! Business wise it works. And the longer we can wait to the finish line, then the less money he will have to buyout. UNLESS' Donnie can find a suitor for some of these contracts before that time comes. Either way, you have' to make it happen. It's that simple. Expensive' but simple! They can have one of my arms and a foot if it helps them get back to the top.
I'll never trust this' team again.

right now my faith isn't high but if a move is done to dump Curry or Zach then u gotta believe my hopes will be high that we can get under in time for 2010... if we make another starphuch trade like this u can be sure there won't be any hope of getting under the cap in 2010.
