those 12 votes are suspect is what i'm saying. i'd love to vote yes. but realistically its highly unlikely Kobe will be a knickerbocker. Why? We don't have enough for the Lakers to make it worth their while. And the Lakers can sit back and try to improve their team and change Kobe's mind.
The best time to go for something like this is 'when it's on the table calling your name'! He's asking for help and all the Knicks have to do is keep throwing the bait out there. There are a few ways the knicks can make this work. A few buy outs, along with a couple of young guys is one way and I think the best way at this point. You almost have' to buy out a little to make room for the salary. Personally, I'd buyout starbury, send him and throw in Frye, Nate and the #23. The best part for L.A. is they have instant money from the buyout. I say why not? The Knicks over the years ended up having to pay off Houston, Larry Johnson and Luc Longley. They paid starbury a huge amount of money for virtually nothing at all, not to mentiion his fued with Brown costing the Knicks to have to give up Larry which cost them (you guessed it) millions and millions more. The point is, these guys are the main bulk of the huge debt the Knicks have accumulated. Now I ask each and every one of you. Were any of them worth all of that money? Were any of them a sure thing? Absolutely not! Now I pose this question. Is' Kobe Bryant worth every cent the Knicks would pay him? You bet and Dolan would make a great deal of his lost money back, if he were to let Thomas make this investment. I keep saying that the Knicks needs to let things run out and save the money, but it doesn't happen, so with the free irresponsible spending that goes on, the huge debt that just keeps getting worse and worse, why not make it worth it for once?
I'll never trust this' team again.
