Everyone has pretty much stated there stance on who the Knicks should pick but is sporadic and spread amongst many threads. Lets say everything remains the same and the Knicks are unable to land another pick. Who should the Knicks take with their one and only 23rd pick?
Avis Wyatt
Morris Almond
Sean Williams
Josh McRoberts
Derrick Byars
Marcus Williams
Rodney Stuckey

What about Tiago Splitter? Don't know much about him.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

I think the pick will be either Morris Almond or Daquean Cook. Almond is ready to contribute now. Cook is a few years away but he has lottery talent, so you take a gamble that he can develop into a good player. IT should also look into the European SGs. Fernandez and Berneni(?) are considered very good prospects with the potential to be solid starters in the league. Finding the European gems is why the Spurs are in the finals.

what about daquean cook? is he still in the running?

Cook has a ton of talent and wasn't able to showcase himself last year with Conley and Oden stealing the show. Cook also had a quality senior in front of him taking his minutes in Ron Lewis who hit a ton of clutch shots all year for OSU. I think Cook has some really good talent and he was higher rated than Conley was coming out of highschool so you know the kid has some game. At 6'6 he's got the height to be a quality SG in this league and he has the frame to add some more muscle/weight. Add in the fact he can score from anywhere on the floor, anyway he wants, he makes for a very intriguing prospect.

If he stayed at OSU this year and played without Oden/Conley, I think we are talking about a Top6 pick in next years draft.

Better question is, if we can trade Nate for the sonics second round selection and Marcus Williams is on the board would you do it.....

And take Almond with the 23 pick so we have two projects at the two position too work with....

i don't know much about him, but the fact that he's a little raw (but still high-upside) i think may be a reason we draft him. our backcourt is crowded and i think IT will get someone who won't be a rotation player for a year or two.

I wouldn't touch Marcus Williams with a 10 foot pole. First off he has a horrible attitude problem, which is part of the reason he left school early. Second of all, Arizona players are constantly soft and have a tough time translating to the NBA.

Bibby, Dikerson, Jefferson all transitioned well, aside from frye and woods

But there is Alonso Tucker possbily if Sean Williams falls would you move nate, we need more balance on this team

Jefferson transitioned well because he's playing with one of the best PGs of all-time in a offense that he allows him to catch alley-oops. He's a great player with the Nets but on a different team he's not that great. You're best argument is Bibby, who has been a very solid player his whole career.

Arizona constantly churns out 1st Round players but they don't do anything in this league.

Wait and see MS. You want nothing to do with Marcus Williams. NOTHING.

I actually haven't seen him, is he similiar to TT or guys like him.....I was just thinking around the two position for the future if we can take a few risks there......

I would really prefer Almond and then Affalo
