Yep, it does seem like they're too satisfied. They're acting like they just won the championship... they're acting like Golden State after they beat Dallas.

Good win for Cleveland, but they're going to get dismantled by San Antonio. Spurs in 5.

Cavs are extending this trophy celebration like they're already done for the season. Like they're satisfied with what they've done to this point.

I don't like it.

As a point of comparison, when a hockey team wins their conference finals, the team captain accepts the conference trophy but they never touch it. They just skate away after a picture is taken. i.e. the only thing that matters is the Cup.

yeah, but you gotta give them some slack. first finals EVER for cleveland.

4yrs Lebron gets to the Finals.

7yrs we have to wait for Curry to rebound and not turn the ball over like a hot potato.

this is also a tv thing for show- these guys are excited- they beat a team they weren't suppose to beat. I think you're reading too much into it.

But, yea- san antonio in 4/5

Definitely. I'll chalk it up to youthful exuberance.

It's a good thing they have 4 days off to celebrate and refocus.

lose chauncy for nothing?

what's sheed's value?

do you trade rip or tayshaun?

would isiah call up dumars and offer malik + frye + randolph for sheed?

Without Sheed they don't win the championship that they did. Not defending Sheed; he's a hothead, but stating facts.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Anyway, what a game for Cleveland. Incredibly. Daniel Gibson was ridiculous. Cleveland against San Antonio in the finals, wow. If Cleveland wins, it's MJ part 2.

No way they can afford to let Chauncey walk. They need to either do a sign and trade or re-up him with an eye on trading him down the road. Sheed and McDyess are also trade bait. Prince and Rip I think you hold onto as mini-core and continuation of the winning tradition unless someone comes along with a really great offer.

On the other hand, if Denver really is dangling Camby and Detroit can make a play for him without breaking up Sheed-Prince-Rip-Billups, they're right back in it.

On the other other hand, if Detroit does blow it up they have a great shot at getting Bynum from LA or basically any young talent on a team that's on the threshold of making noise in the playoffs.

agreed the first time around, but not this time. webber was the golden boy signing this year that was supposed to get them into the finals - i guess you could say that experiment is over.
