turning point of the series was losing game 1.
raptors are 30-11 at home, 17-24 on the road.
everybody would've held serve and it probably goes 7.

but losing game 1 hurt their chances.

I think they still have a chance to advance but yes it's going to be tough.

Raps won but Nets almost had that game. Raps aren't beating Nets at home.

I hate when Nixluva responds. He basically dodges the actually content of the post and makes it an age thing. NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT AGE SOLELY.

The Raptors are in MUCH better shape than we are. All you need to see that is two eyes. They're very young, yes, but have a nice core. Curry and Marbury is not a nice core. Almost every team in the league has a better core than that and you basically win with your top players. Lee is good, but he's not better than at least 15 of the league's starting PFs. Craw is good, but he's probably not a starter on most teams. Q's health is in serious question. When he is healthy, our record is approximately the same as when he is out, so while I like his style of play, he's not that much of an impact other than giving us someone who is 'questionably' a shooter, and a good rebounder and solid perimeter defender.

It's not about quantity, Nix. You can't say, "We have five young kids, they have three". It's about quality. The fact is that the Raps have Bosh, a former #4 pick, who is developing rapidly and headed towards becoming a top 10 NBA player. They have last year's #1 pick who looks like he's going to be the next Dirk Nowitzki. Maybe not as good as Dirk, but that kind of style and likely an NBA star. They have TJ Ford, who, while, I've been against undersized PGs, is a very good distributor, and beats any backcourt player we have. Then Garbajosa, etc... they're a very good team.

The Knicks just don't have these things. To assume that it's all going to gel, everything works out fine, no worries... when there's serious signs that disagree with you, I don't know, man.

You know for some reason you TrueBlue, islesfan and Bonn, LOVE to try and describe me as some guy that is of questionable intelligence, Dodges questions, is a hypocrite, Blind to reality and sees thru Rose colored glasses. None of that is necessary to make your points about my POSTS. If you guys lay off the personal attacks and just stick to the topic, i'll agree to do the same.

You can throw all these insults my way and yet you apparently didn't even read what I wrote, cuz if you did, you would've noticed that I didn't just look at the age difference aspect of Bonn's post. I addressed several other issues. If age wasn't a point he was trying to make then he shouldn't have brought it up!!! PERIOD!!!

My earlier post which is what Bonn was responding to had to do with the REST of the team and their potential for improving. I didn't even mention Bosh. However after he brought him into the argument, I then made a comment on Bosh specifically.

As for Toronto's prospects for getting better, I still think that they will have to add a player or two, that can bring some breakdown/slashing ability to the game. They may need a post threat as well. They have too many spot up players and not enough guys that can create their own shot.

As for the Knicks prospects not being as high draft picks as the Raps top guys, that's not the most important thing when building a team. I think that with only a couple of additions/subtractions and continued development of our own players we'll have a team that is more well rounded than Toronto is currently. My whole point was that Colangelo will have to make some changes as well, for this team to really excel from this level they're at. The way he's constructed this team so far isn't very strong for a playoff team, but it's good for the regular season. I'm not sure he'll be willing to make those changes, some have suggested that he will. We'll see.
