I think some of u miss the point as far as the injuries not telling the whole story..The team as a whole were getting better as the season progress. The chemistry was getting better and crawford by far was our best FT shooter, and Lee our best rebounder. The playoffs would have been a good expierience, also show casing some of the guys that are likly to be trade bait.

For those obsessed with Francis, I'll do the stats for our opening day starting lineup below. We go up by 8 total games and are ranked 4th instead of 5th in the east.

Games missed:
Knicks:
Marbury: 4
Francis: 38
Q-Rich: 29
Frye: 10
Curry: 1
Total: 84 (or +8) compared to the original number

It's grossly wrong and shouldn't have been cited.
I trust him more then you, show how it is grossly wrong............

If you go by minutes played Yes but if you look at the season objectively no way.

How moronic to believe a stat like that! Core rotation goes 9men deep. Some consider it 8 and others consider it 10. So here's what you have....

According to MP

6. J. Jeffries 82-52=30(3gms left)=27
3. D. Lee 82-58=24
4. J. Crawford 82-58=24
8. N. Robinson 82-61=19(3gms left)=16
11. M. Rose 82-62=20(3gms left)=17
9. R. Balkman 82-68=14
2. E. Curry 82-78=4(3gms left)=1
1. S. Marbury 82-74=8
7. C. Frye 82-69=13(3gms left)=10
5. Q. Richardson 82-49=33
10. S. Francis 82-41=41(3gms left)=38

I ranked them according to who I feel are the players in the 9 man rotation. The only debatable player is Francis but most feel he's Gangreen so I ranked him considerably low. Also Steve was told to go away and was going to be bought out. He never was really part of ISAYUGH's main guys. I'm writing off Marbury and Balkman as done this yr. So if you add 1-9's injuries you get 157. Nate and Jeffries skew that total a bit but remember the Brawl was a self inflicted action there's no way you give mercy points because of what resulted because that was the risk taken. So Jeffries games missed total would be about half and Nate's would be Nill.

If you swap out Balkman or Nate for Francis you get the 175gm total + a few games
That number is meaningless without knowing what the number is for other teams. It also should be weighted so that games missed by starters count more than reserves because starters almost always are more important players than reserves.

Bonn I didn't bother posting numbers from other teams because it would be a total case closed situation. I was just trying to address the 175gm total. Any fan who paid attention to the season knows our team injuries are average to less significant compared to other teams in the league.

And one more question: Was there ever a game where we had less money in healthy players than the opponent? Even one game?

Bad chemistry more than bad health was our chief cause for not succeeding this season. Francis was a disaster. Nate is a talented moron who needs remedial coaching every 45 second on the court.

Marbury is a 20 million dollar guy so he got shut down early to preserve and prevent anything serious.

Our biggest injury was Craw as the team seemed to go down from there.

Nobody stepped in to cover that ingrediant. Francis was a complete disaster. while our expectations were not that high it may not seem like a bust but can you think of any 17million dollar player whom was not Cap fodder for a trade (rose, Penny) who in their prime of career eroded and turned into a diva b!tch at the same time to this degree?

Remember this was to be "frazier-Monroe"!!! And the GM Gets extended? Most Owners with balls fire GM's who stretch this far!

Ok, That being done, the injury thing to me is a lack guys stepping up.

At least Balkman and Nay Nate show an athletic abilty to play in this league which gives us hope. The biggest plus is that Mardy is a player and in my opinion opens up Nate or Craw to go in a trade.
